"My husband and I spent a few days in this comfortable , clean home with our 20 month old well behaved dog! The back is idyllic- peaceful, serene. We swam in the pond, kayaked and enjoyed the scenery. Everything you could possibly want was in the kitchen and the lcoation was fantastic! Looking forward to returning!"Guest: Gila C. "Over the years, my family has stayed at several places on Cape Cod, including homes in Brewster. This year we needed a place for my wife and I, my daughter and son-in-law and our two grandsons. This house was perfect! This is easily one of the very best places we have rented. The listing is 100% accurate. The house was spic and span and it is beautifully maintained. All of the appliances (refrigerator, stovetop, oven, washer and dryer, etc.) were exactly as described and all were in perfect working order. Internet access was excellent and the Cable reception and available channels was as good as I have ever had in a rental property. The basement downstairs was an added plus providing a separate area for viewing DVD's or local TV, as well as for playing ping-pong, or just relaxing in a separate quiet area. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. The location is very near the Cape Cod Rail trail which was a major plus for me. I was able to ride my bike every morning. Also the little beach at the end of the street was very nice. We also spent time at lovely Breakwater beach which is 5 minutes away. Also we spent a day in Provincetown to go whale watching which was wonderful. The owner was very easy to work with and was very helpful with any questions we had. He also provided recommendations that were exactly on target. All in all, everyone had a great time and we highly recommend the Brewster Vacation Getaway."Guest: JimD Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 6, 2014View listing
"A very close old friend was getting married in October and we had a group of couples that traveled from all over the country to get together for the wedding and we were looking for a place where we could call home base but also offered a great atmosphere to catch up in. The house was perfect. We had a great time catching up at the big dining room table, and enjoying our morning coffee on the front porch. We were able to walk to all of the wedding festivities that took place in Falmouth, MA. From the Flying Bridge, to all of Main Street, the house is extremely accessible to everything. It is also only a very short walk to the water where you can capture all the ocean views you want. All in all, it was a fanastic trip and the house provided everything we wanted and more."Guest: Dougie Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 12, 2014View listing
"Today is our last day at this gorgeous home and we want to thank the owner, Harry for having us stay a very memorable week. It was my family of 4 and my sister's family of four that stayed all week. With 4 kids being all under four, the house was safe, roomy and fun! We visited a different beach everyday and found Crosby Lanfing to be the best, especially at low tide. The beach near this home was nice but a bit rocky. The beach is walking distance, maybe 15 min. Kitchen was very well stocked with spices, pans, dishes, drinkware, bar utensils, etc. Garage was stocked with plenty of beach chairs, beach cart, BBQ grill, etc. Beds were comfy and house was clean. Central air works very well and for chilly nights, the gas fireplace was a plus! We will definetly be renting this home again!"Guest: Jen Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 5, 2014View listing
