"This is a “Thank You” to the Greys for sharing their lovely home through VBRO! We have rented on the Cape several times and this home was the best we have been in to date! The Greys were very gracious and easy to work with and obviously wanted us to be comfortable. A detail of the home that we really appreciated was the wood walkway from the drive way to the front of the house and then around to the outdoor shower (a must on the Cape to rinse off a day at the ocean or bay!) Everything in the house was well maintained and the location is great. Many thanks!"

"We just got back from our family vacation and I can't say enough good things about this cottage. My husband and I were in one queen bedroom which had a ceiling fan and was very spacious... my kids (all under the age of 7) stayed in the twin bedroom which was great... and my parents stayed in the other queen bedroom which also had a ceiling fan and was more spacious than the other queen room. The twin room had two fans in the closet. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk and my kids loved walking every day, they thought they were cool having a house so close to the beach. Parkers River Beach is great.... it gets crowded though. My husband would drop off some of our stuff @ 9am and set up our chairs on the beach to get a spot then we would all walk down, the guys who run the parking lot were great and allowed tons of people to drop off. The beach has bathrooms... shower... playground... food and ice cream. The Skipper restaurant is also across the street from the beach. We had pure sunshine all week which was a huge plus! The cottage had everything we needed and more. My girls loved the old vintage toys that were there (1970 fisher price toy cars and airplanes... so awesome) ....it's an old cottage but it is perfect... had comcast cable tv... a bunch of dvd and vhs movies.... had a great outdoor shower.... my kids loved the shower that was in the house ( it had a handheld shower massager that I just used to wash the kids down... They loved it!! My parents thought the place was perfect too. So close to the beach... in a perfect spot off of 28, right down the street from skull island and dairy queen.... stop n shop and Shaws were also very close. We ate in every meal except one night we ate at Seafood Sam's which was really good. The grill is charcoal so buy a bag of charcoal if you want to use it. .. the food tasted great off of the grill, it's been awhile since my husband used a charcoal grill but he loved it. There was an air conditioner in the living room that we used here and there, it needed an extension cord to plug into the wall but the house had that. The pictures for the listing of the home do it no justice... the place is so cute and perfect. I miss it already and can't wait to go back! My sister in law was staying in west yarmouth while we were there and parked at our place and walked to the beach, she loved the cottage and wants to rent it next year. Stephanie was great to communicate with...she gets right back to you. Thank you for everything!"

"We have been coming to the Isaac Bea / Mercy Bea for 5 years because it feels like home.. The house is beautifully furnished with antiques, artwork, china, and glassware and all the windows and antique wood plank floors make the house delightfully light and airy. The location and setting are perfect for my 4 kids: close enough to walk into town to shop or get ice cream, across from the ballpark where we watch the Anglers' home games, and close enough to the beach to walk or ride our bikes. We spent a lot of nights cooking our own meals this year, rather than eating out, and ate out on the deck, overlooking Oyster Pond . Mornings, while the teenagers enjoy a lazy schedule, my younger kids attend the Anglers baseball camp, and I sit in the garden, sipping coffee, reading my book, and enjoying the beautiful secret garden. After a long day on the beach or paddling kayaks, we come home to the fabulous outside shower and then hang our wet towels and suits on the line to dry in the breeze. That same breeze blows through the open windows and shutters into the kitchen and living room, and we sit and play cards in the evening around the big kitchen table. Thank you Janet for another great vacation! See you next year!"

"Prince Harding, with its cosyand private front porch is a perfect studio for two people looking for an intown location within an easy walk to Oyster Pond and the shops and restaurants of Main Street. Still easy, but longer is a walk Lighthouse Beach.
The historic property is pristinely maintained by its friendly and helpful owners. The queensized bed is very comfortable. The provided linens are sufficient and the kitchen amenities will surprise. The garage washer and dryer are convenient and easy to access.
For me, Ship's Light is the perfect vacation location."
