"We again rented the Boat House for 2 weeks starting on 9/6/14. The house is great for adults and the deck was great for our Wine 30 every night. What a view of the Sail boats on the pound. We took walks each morning and enjoyed the peace and quit.
Hope to be back again

"This is a gorgeous spot in Orleans, MA overlooking Skaket Marsh. Sunsets are spectacular. The property is beautifully maintained and landscaped and the house is large and spacious, with views of the bay from practically every room. The rooms are large and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked (there's a second kitchen in the basement!). This is an ideal property for large family get-togethers. The owner is wonderful—communicative and very responsive to your needs. Highly recommended!"

"Our family of four plus a rotating assortment of friends and other family, LOVED staying at this house, it was perfect in every way. The main house itself was so charming and accommodating and the guesthouse was absolutely lovely for our guests. We also played tennis every day - a true treat! We fell in love with Crystal Lake, so great for kids and SO CLOSE.
It's centrally located in Orleans, only a few minutes from Nauset and Skaket Beaches. Pilgrim Lake is also a great place to take little kids, it has a small beach and a great swimming area. We took full advantage of the Cape Bike Trail, nightly trips to Sundae School and saw a children's play at the local theatre. We love this area so much because there is never a shortage of things to do when you're all beached-out.
We are already looking forward to another stay next summer!"

"Quiet and secluded old house, walking distance to Skaket Beach and Hot Chocolate Sparrow and mere steps from the Rail Trail. House itself is interesting, with old stairways, alcoves, floors, etc.
Getting to the second floor takes some agility but there is a bedroom on the ground floor that we used for Grandma and Grandpa. Room on the lawn for kids to play and explore, well-furnished kitchen, can accommodate a large family."
