Charming and comfortable
"I rented this place for my parents and 5 uncles and aunts who were on the Cape for my wedding. The deck is beautiful and well furnished and the garden has an english charm. My relatives were so happy at the house that -- to my dismay -- they barely left to explore the Cape! Susan was very easy to work with. Orleans has a really nice town center with Shaws supermarket which has just about anything you'd need. In addition, there is the Chocolate Sparrow which is perfect for morning coffee or gifts of homemade chocolates and fudge. There is also a great wine shop with high quality cheeses and meats for picnics or cocktail parties. Visit the wonderful vintage shop and wedding store for one-of-a-kind clothes and fabulous wedding gowns. I wish I had known about it before I got my dress. I did buy my veil there and the owner was so helpful and friendly. I recommend this cottage and staying in Orleans."

"A beautiful and private quintessential Cape Cod home...quiet and comfortable. Lots of space for families. The owner was very helpful with any questions I had.
Close to everything in Orleans...a quick mile jog to Skaket Beach.
I would definitely recommend this place!"

"We recently stayed at woodchip in August. The home exceeded all expectations. The online pictures do not do thee home justice. The owners Nina and Christa were so helpful, professional, and kind. They responded promptly to all questions. The home is so welcoming and does not feel like a rental. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could want. Downstairs were well kept bikes to access the bike trail, a ton of beach supplies and plenty of linens. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to all local attractions. I would highly recommend this home and look forward to renting in the future."

"This is an amazing house. The house, the yard, the deck, the location, everything about is was top rate. We had a family reunion/vacation here the last week in June. Lots of adults and kids, and plenty of room for all. Every night fresh fish on the Barbie from the local market, and relaxing on the deck, which held and fed all of us with plenty of room. One complaint about the kitchen: it is overstocked! Never have had that "problem" before. Anything you need for food prep is there, with a gourmet kitchen to set the stage. The house itself had plenty of space, no one was in each other's way. The yard is great. We had whiffle ball games, badminton , and croquet. We also put on near 100 miles on our bikes. Not hard to do since the bike trail is right at the end of the road. It is a short bike to beaches, fish markets, and into Orleans for any shopping, ice cream, etc. The house is extremely well located, central to all of our favorite Cape haunts, and with the bike trail so near by, rarely needed to get in to the car. We have rented many times on the cape, this property has to rank as the top for us, and we hope to return. Thanks Liz for a great week, it just couldn't have been better."
