"We again rented the Boat House for 2 weeks starting on 9/6/14. The house is great for adults and the deck was great for our Wine 30 every night. What a view of the Sail boats on the pound. We took walks each morning and enjoyed the peace and quit.
Hope to be back again

"My wife and I had never visited Cape Cod, and are so happy and fortunate to have found this cottage on our first trip here. The cottage is located in a very quite and secluded area that we found very pleasing, but it is centrally located on the Cape to all of the attractions that we visited during the week of our visit, and is very close to all that Orleans has to offer. We especially like the Orleans area for it's small town feel and friendliness. The cottage has everything in the way of amenities that we could have expected, wanted, or needed. It is well maintained, clean, and a very relaxing place to be. Our host, Molly, was warm and gracious was very helpful in recommending local places to visit. This is a place that would be easy to return to and we hope to do just that. I highly recommend this to any couple that wants to visit the Cape."

"This home was perfect for our active family of 5 plus our golden retriever. It was clean and nicely furnished but not so dear that we had to worry about the dog or kids. Grocery stores nearby made it just like home. From the house you can walk to Rock harbor and the little wharf and beach there. Local people said they allow dogs there after 4pm so we went with that. Because of the hurricane, fireworks were delayed so we hot to see those our week as well. Skaket and Nauset are short drives, a bike trail with rental shops is also very near in the town. The kids keep asking if we can go back so it was a hit. Miriam and Lou have a TV, DVD, VCR and there is WiFi. There are board games in a cabinet. The backyard is big and perfect for throwing ball around while something is grilling up. The house is one level there are 2 low wooden steps to get in. So if mobility is an issue for you or a pet, don't worry! I was looking for a low key seaside vacation with the kids, like I had growing up visiting my grandma on Long Island. This was very much like that. Hope to get a week again next year!"

"What a wonderful house and a great location! We rented Baker's Pond for two weeks and loved it. It was wonderful waking up every morning to views of Baker's pond from the top floor bedroom and then being able to continue those views from every floor. We enjoyed having our coffee with the hummingbirds outside the slider and watching the birds feed their young in the birdhouse outside the kitchen window. The Keurig coffee machine made a quick wake up coffee possible. At the end of our week, the moon reflecting on the pond made it a very romantic evening. The house is very cozy and thoughtfully laid out. We found nothing lacking and our hosts were quick to answer any questions. There was a kayak & canoe available to use, plus we enjoyed grilling our fresh fish on the gas grill. We were able to take walks around the pond in the conservation area & Nickerson's State Park.
We will definitely be back! thank you for sharing this wonderful Cape location with us."
