Great for a family
"Quiet and secluded old house, walking distance to Skaket Beach and Hot Chocolate Sparrow and mere steps from the Rail Trail. House itself is interesting, with old stairways, alcoves, floors, etc.
Getting to the second floor takes some agility but there is a bedroom on the ground floor that we used for Grandma and Grandpa. Room on the lawn for kids to play and explore, well-furnished kitchen, can accommodate a large family."

"I had stayed here about a year ago and thought this was a rare kind of paradise then, but since then they have added some really cute updates to the house including a whole new huge sunny bedroom which we stayed in . Views, sunsets and birds were amazing. We had some trouble with the front door lock which they fixed within a hour, very friendly workman with some interesting Cape -yarns to spin. The estate is so secure feeling that I didn't even think you needed to lock the front door ,but my mother insisted.
Floors and everything looked really sparkly and clean, and kitchen was well equipped .Beds were all very comfortable and new feeling, but the privacy and tranquility here beats any medication you could ever take; which is why I'll be back for another retreat and tell my friends about how nice it is to have breakfast in that wonderful Gazebo or Pergola out in the orchard. We saw beautiful red foxes and deer ,besides more birds then any of us could identify. They said there was a Otter out back in the river but we weren't lucky enough to spot it. It was a fabulous ,restful, vacation ,who could not love those endlessly changing views in a well designed house.

"My wife and I had never visited Cape Cod, and are so happy and fortunate to have found this cottage on our first trip here. The cottage is located in a very quite and secluded area that we found very pleasing, but it is centrally located on the Cape to all of the attractions that we visited during the week of our visit, and is very close to all that Orleans has to offer. We especially like the Orleans area for it's small town feel and friendliness. The cottage has everything in the way of amenities that we could have expected, wanted, or needed. It is well maintained, clean, and a very relaxing place to be. Our host, Molly, was warm and gracious was very helpful in recommending local places to visit. This is a place that would be easy to return to and we hope to do just that. I highly recommend this to any couple that wants to visit the Cape."

"The house is nice and well laid-out with the back bedroom and deck overlooking the water and it had everything needed for a great, pre-season get-a-way. The house is set back off the road and is situated so you have a feeling of privacy and it is very convenient to town and the national seashore. Pilgrim Pond is a beautiful, quiet pond with a resident swan and nesting ospreys; we counted at least 18 different species of birds right from the back deck! The water was clear and the swimming was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here (as did our two dogs), and Collin was responsive and answered all our questions quickly and accurately. I'd love to return someday."
