"We just got back from our family vacation and I can't say enough good things about this cottage. My husband and I were in one queen bedroom which had a ceiling fan and was very spacious... my kids (all under the age of 7) stayed in the twin bedroom which was great... and my parents stayed in the other queen bedroom which also had a ceiling fan and was more spacious than the other queen room. The twin room had two fans in the closet. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk and my kids loved walking every day, they thought they were cool having a house so close to the beach. Parkers River Beach is great.... it gets crowded though. My husband would drop off some of our stuff @ 9am and set up our chairs on the beach to get a spot then we would all walk down, the guys who run the parking lot were great and allowed tons of people to drop off. The beach has bathrooms... shower... playground... food and ice cream. The Skipper restaurant is also across the street from the beach. We had pure sunshine all week which was a huge plus! The cottage had everything we needed and more. My girls loved the old vintage toys that were there (1970 fisher price toy cars and airplanes... so awesome) ....it's an old cottage but it is perfect... had comcast cable tv... a bunch of dvd and vhs movies.... had a great outdoor shower.... my kids loved the shower that was in the house ( it had a handheld shower massager that I just used to wash the kids down... They loved it!! My parents thought the place was perfect too. So close to the beach... in a perfect spot off of 28, right down the street from skull island and dairy queen.... stop n shop and Shaws were also very close. We ate in every meal except one night we ate at Seafood Sam's which was really good. The grill is charcoal so buy a bag of charcoal if you want to use it. .. the food tasted great off of the grill, it's been awhile since my husband used a charcoal grill but he loved it. There was an air conditioner in the living room that we used here and there, it needed an extension cord to plug into the wall but the house had that. The pictures for the listing of the home do it no justice... the place is so cute and perfect. I miss it already and can't wait to go back! My sister in law was staying in west yarmouth while we were there and parked at our place and walked to the beach, she loved the cottage and wants to rent it next year. Stephanie was great to communicate with...she gets right back to you. Thank you for everything!"

"This property was perfect for us to have time together and space when needed. It is nicely located near Hardings and Ridgevale beach as well a creek at the end of the road. You can bike to town as well. Ping Pong and Fuzball table were favourites for our teenage boys. We are planning to return."

"This is the second time my family and I have rented this house and we always have the best time! Walking distance to town and only a short drive to the beach. There is nothing better then coming home after a beach day and swimming in the pool! My nephew loved the playground and basketball court. I definitely reccomend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and amazing house in Hyannis!"

"Our best rental at the Cape. For the first time lots of space for everyone to enjoy their own pursuits. With active 6 and 5 year old the playroom was a blessing. They loved their own space. Three members of our group brought bikes and were delighted to find bike trails easily accessible from the house. The kayaks were an enormous success with the young adults and two kids – who loved to be ferried out on trips. In fact the kids requested we bring them their own kayaks next year. We enjoyed the lake beach so much we did not venture out to an ocean beach. My husband and I – the oldies in the group enjoyed walks and sitting by the lake in the early A.M. with our books. We had a quiet half hour or so before the rest of the family got into gear. Lots of nearby activities for the rainy days (in our second week). No one was bored during the entire two weeks. We will definitely return."
