"We had a really wonderful vacation. The house is very attractive and is perfect for a family - loads of space inside the house and also an extensive garden (with Koi pond).
It can't be beaten for location. All parts of the Cape are easily accessible. Plus the road is quiet and has the benefit of being right next to Long Pond (which is more of a lake!). Use of kayaks is included - the kids loved it.
The house is well stocked with everything you're likely to need, including games and beach stuff for the kids (great as we flew in from the UK).
Book it - you'll love it!"

"This property met and exceeded all of our expectations! It's centrally located, so it's only a short drive to P-Town, Orleans, Hyannis, etc. As well it's a very close drive to all the main beaches. The patio was our favorite feature as we had coffee there every morning as well as a few adult beverages to end the day. There's also a huge back yard that the kids/dogs can run around in. The washer/dryer came in handy to wash clothes and towels.
Great communication by the owner Dave. He even called to check in to make sure everything was going OK. Next time we're back to the Cape, we'll be staying here again! Thanks again Dave - you made our summer trip one of the best ones yet."

"What an amazing vacation! The house is perfectly situated on Bucks Pond at the end of a dead end street. The private beach is so relaxing. We enjoyed swimming, snorkeling--even pulling the beach chairs down to the private beach to read with our feet in the warm water. We kayaked daily, whether it be just around the pond, or to one of the association beaches for more swimming. Our daughters now believe that a pond/lake is better than the ocean! The wildlife was wonderful as well. My 11-year-old future ornithologist was thrilled to see a cormorant, an osprey, Canada geese, catbirds, and many other songbirds during the course of the week. We did day trips on the Cape Cod Rail Trial, to Coast Guard Beach, and to Wellfleet and Orleans. The deck was wonderful for our nightly grilling and relaxing--and NO MOSQUITOS! The house was so sunny and bright, had a large table, large living room, huge master bedroom and a well-appointed kitchen. We definitely plan to return!"

"What a wonderful place to vacation. This well kept (owners take great care of the cottage) cottage is close to everything!! Steps away from lighthouse beach- the most beautiful beach in the world! One can walk for miles on the beach which seems like a private oasis. No need to drive anywhere while staying at the cottage (although can if you'd like) downtown resturants and shops are right down Main Street. Yet it is the cottage itself which makes the vacation complete. Set back on a private lane, the water views, surrounding wildlife and wrap around deck helps us to relax while lounging, grilling and eating!! Oh yeah- and there is boat landing nearby!! And a place down a nearby path for kayaking. We cannot say enough! It is a slice of heaven."
