Perfect for a family reunion
"Great space for a family get together. Bedrooms, baths and common spaces very spacious and comfortably furnished. Although we had very nice weather and were able to enjoy being outside, the layout of the house would work well in inclement weather just as well. A great location for enjoying walks on the beach or the street. Two decks means that one is almost always getting some sun or shade. The large deck off the back of the house has seating for at least 30 - amazing, the kitchen was spacious and well laid out and was the most well equipped of any house I've ever rented.
Easy access from the parking to the house (just one step up) and a master with ex suite bathroom (with walk-in shower) downstairs would make this an ideal house for anyone with limited mobility. In addition, one can enjoy the beach from the back deck.
The house was very clean and well maintained and the owner was very responsive to any questions/issues. It was redecorated in 2014, so is even nicer than the pictures.
We would definitely recommend this property.
We ate all our meals in, so can't recommend restaurants. We did hire Clambakes Etc to do a clambake for our group and they did a terrific job - would definitely recommend them.
Activities - can recommend the Shining Sea Bikeway that runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole and Corner cycle in Falmouth for bike rentals. Also recommend Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich - even on a rainy day."

"I've stayed at this cottage twice now - I like it a lot. It's clean, comfortable and convenient. The location is perfect for me. I look for some place that's low key, quiet and interesting. The views from the deck are beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is equipped with most things I need and the owner is pleasant and helpful. The area around E. Sandwich is perfect. Good restaurants include the Pilot House, Seafood Sam's, the Bee Hive and several breakfast/lunch places. The Heritage Museum in Sandwich is a beautiful place to visit. The gardens are spectacular and this year they had a special art exhibit featuring paintings by N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth. Amazing! I recommend this cottage highly."

"My husband and I recently spent one month in this lovely home in Sandwich, Mass.
First of all, I can't recommend the location highly enough. Despite being mobility challenged I found it an easy walk to an historic church for Sunday services, the Sandwich Glass Museum, the one hundred year old (parts of it) Sandwich Library, Tea Room, Coffee Shops, Dexter's Grist Mill, the Hoxie House, Shawme Pond to swan gaze, the Daniel Webster Inn and other restaurants for meals. It's only about an hour twenty to the furthest point on the Cape and approximately the same to Boston. Day trips abound from this location, but you are poised to be off Cape in a matter of minutes!
The House. Very large and comfortable (great mattress on the King downstairs) with an interesting and eclectic collection of books, music and furnishings. This house just feels good. I spent many happy hours on the back porch with a book, watching the mill stream flow past. Large, lush, green backyard, and I adored the stream and its residents.
The Owner. We have found Bob to be a delight to work with. One time in our entire month long stay we had some concerns about the washing machine. Within a couple of hours Bob and his handyman were out and answered my concerns. Done.
I would highly recommend this home and the town it is located in. I am already planning on going back next fall with my grandchildren in tow!"

"The pictures online don't fully capture how beautiful this home is and the views! From the minute you pull up it's a 5 star resort vacation without the people! This is my second time renting from Susan and from the fresh flowers to the top of the line linens and everything else it's just over the top nice! This was a girls weekend with my sisters and mom and the memories we've created and will forever have, were made that much more special with the property being what it is. We rented in the spring but did bring bikes and it was nice to ride around. Not close enough to ride anywhere I'm particular but that's the perfect part about it- it's quiet, no reason to leave. Your biggest decision is to sit on the back deck or front!"
