Peaceful Cape Cod retreat
"We recently had the opportunity to stay in this cozy cape cottage while attending the Wellfleet Oyster Festival. It is one of 10 cottages in a wooded setting. The location and view are just perfect with a prime spot perched up overlooking a peaceful pond with a dock. Very clean and well equipped with everything you will need for a getaway. Many restaurants nearby and beautiful beaches. Would love to stay here again."

"My husband and I were delighted to find this cozy, clean cottage for our recent fall get away. The home is beautifully decorated with a nice, soft nautical feel and is centrally located mid cape with easy access to restaurants and shops. Gray's Beach is about a mile away with its beautiful views along the boardwalk. This home was a perfect size for our getaway, but would be just as nice and comfortable for 4 with its 2 bathrooms and 2 private bedrooms. The fireplace was a nice touch too! Pat was a real pleasure to work with and I appreciated her prompt replies to my e-mail messages. We hope to come back next summer & stay a bit longer! Thank you Pat & Bob for sharing your beautiful cottage with us! As you can probably tell, we loved it!"

"Wonderful rental house in Pocasset. Very clean, convenient to the local beaches, including a short walk to a small beach at the end of the street. This small peach/sandbar was perfect for my 11 month old granddaughter. Beds were firm & comfortable, and living spaces were sufficient for our group of 7. The front porch was pleasant with a water view and table to take meals. The owner stopped by on Saturday to greet us and to make sure everything was in order for our stay. One caution we learned: the top step down from the 2nd floor disappears into shadows during certain times of the day. Be careful you don't miss it and stumble down the stairwell."

"This is a great house for vacationing families! The BR configuration (2 queen BRs downstairs, 1 queen BR and 1 BR with 4 twins upstairs plus a loft space with a twin bed) and 2 full baths plus outside shower easily accommodates two families. The LR is bright and airy and the loft space can also serve as a family room. There is a large, well-stocked eat-in kitchen (though the table only seats 6). There is a great selection of games and movies on hand. There is a nice back deck with table and grill and the house is in a private wooded setting; there is no lawn but the small cul-de-sac in front of the house provides a place for kids to play. The garage is convenient for storing your bikes. The location is great, close to Nauset Light and Coastguard beaches (~1.5 miles), Arnold's and the bike path (<1 mile), and the elementary school (<.5 miles), which has a nice playground.
The property was very clean, and some renters may appreciate the option to clean the house yourself and skip the cleaning fee. The owners were very quick and responsive in answering questions. Highly recommended!"
