  • Great for groups

"We spent some time here over Christmas and were delighted with the wide open kitchen and large spaces for gathering, but also plenty of rooms to break off from the crowd. Because it's on a flagpole lot and backs to woods, you really feel like you've gotten away from it all; at the same time, you can easily walk into town or to the lighthouse. Thanks!"

  • Absolutely beautiful place

"My husband and I stayed in the West Falmouth apartment for a week this September (2014). It was absolutely beautiful. I loved West Falmouth, Chapaquoit Beach and the bike trail. The next time that we are up we want to try the canal path. The apartment is beautifully decorated with interesting historic pictures and books. There is a plethora or art work and a gallery of art downstairs down by the owner. We plan on returning every year. Thank you Ann."

  • Truly a GEM!

"What a wonderful house and a great location! We rented Baker's Pond for two weeks and loved it. It was wonderful waking up every morning to views of Baker's pond from the top floor bedroom and then being able to continue those views from every floor. We enjoyed having our coffee with the hummingbirds outside the slider and watching the birds feed their young in the birdhouse outside the kitchen window. The Keurig coffee machine made a quick wake up coffee possible. At the end of our week, the moon reflecting on the pond made it a very romantic evening. The house is very cozy and thoughtfully laid out. We found nothing lacking and our hosts were quick to answer any questions. There was a kayak & canoe available to use, plus we enjoyed grilling our fresh fish on the gas grill. We were able to take walks around the pond in the conservation area & Nickerson's State Park. We will definitely be back! thank you for sharing this wonderful Cape location with us."

  • Balance

"Peaceful, quiet, well maintained home with a HUGE kitchen / dining room. If you like to visit the cape with a large family (or simply like a lot of room to wiggle), look no further. This abode offers a comfy ‘lived in’ feel you never get from renting little cottages or motel rooms. With all the hustle and bustle of cape festivities, it’s nice to end the evening cooking on the grill in the spacious back deck with only birds and the breeze as background noise. As far as the owners of the abode: Friendly, quick to respond, detailed (aesthetically and functionally) and don’t cut corners. In short, the place offers balance. Balance, in that you can rest peacefully and feel safe in a quant setting while sipping coffee as you read a book, make yourself a healthy snack, or get to bed early for the next days adventures. Balance, in that a short distance away you can be biking in the hills of the dunes, singing off key to kereoke, or simply taking a romantic walk on one of several beaches watching the sun set across the ocean horizon. In summary: I have always thought a great vacation meant the proximity of fun activities. That where you stayed mattered little since all you do is sleep there. Now that I discovered this vacation home, I realized I was missing half of what made a vacation extraordinay… It’s about looking forward to going ‘home’, knowing the extra rest you get there makes your experiences for the next vacation day even better."
