"We had a wonderful time at the house. Location is great - 0.8 miles from the beach so driving is easier - and the house is perfect. The downstairs has a very large and open living/dining area with kitchen, along with one bedroom with two twin beds, a bathroom and a mudroom. The upstairs has the master bed that shares a bathroom with the other bedroom with two bunk beds.
The house was perfect for our family of four (including an infant who wakes up frequently at night) but can easily accommodate many more (better behaved :) visitors).
Andrea was incredibly responsive and helpful with every question. She even provided us with a toddler bed and a pack and play, which helped tremendously with our young kids. All in all, a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this house for everyone, but especially with young children since it is so well equipped (stepping stool, toddler bed, etc.).
Many thanks Andrea. We had a great time.
Oh, and like other reviewers, I agree that the pictures don't do the house justice. It looks better than in the pictures."

"We had a great stay at 7B Russell Road, sampling the full range of seasons on Cape Cod (Feb to May; winter to early summer). The house sits on the waterfront, with a lovely view of Great River. The location was nice and quiet in the off-season with lots of wildlife (birds, foxes) - much bird photography was undertaken. The house had everything needed to be warm and cozy in the winter, plenty of blankets, fireplace and chopped wood, and a good stove with all the pots and pans for great home cooking. It was a fun place to stay, with a nice digital TV, DVD player, bookcases crammed with interesting books and both indoor and outdoor games lurking in the cupboards. We were on sabbatical at WHOI, and able to commute easily to Woods Hole 5 days/week from the peaceful calm of Monomoscoy Island. The fast internet connection made “working at home”/skyping with colleagues very easy. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all of the outdoor activities available; the house has kayaks, a stand-up paddle board, dock and a small private beach, all just out the door. We made one glorious kayak trip around Waquoit Bay the day before we left, and immediately thought “we should have done this more often”. Finally, we must mention Tim and Deb, the owners, who were very attentive and ready to help at a moment’s notice."

"We had a great time staying at the Summer of 42 house! We stayed here once before 12 years ago and it was similar and better than we remembered. The porch is perfect for endless games of Uno, a cup of coffee or a glass of beer and dinner on the picnic table. There are so many beach chairs to use, a bocci ball set, boogie board and a ton of boardgames to choose from. The location is perfect, our kids (ages 6 and 8) were very comfortable walking back and forth from the beach to use the bathroom or get something they needed back at the house. There are many residents and long term renters in the area who were so friendly and welcoming and offered up many suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The water was warm too which was lovely. The Sandbar is fun to have within walking distance too. It's not luxurious, rather it's a quintessential beach cottage."
