"This is a very nice spot. My husband and I stayed in the second floor bedroom and as you wake just open your eyes you can watch the sun rise, really nice. The home is very well equipped with beach chairs ect. In the kitchen there are an abundant of size pans to cook with . Having the washer and dryer is great as well as the internet. There is a hair dryer in the second floor bath but you have to take down t the other bathroom because it will not fit the out let on the first floor. Any one who goes will enjoy there time. Just wonderful"

"Five stars for three categories.
SITE. Tne VRNO photo doesn't do justice to this house and setting. It's what was called a Greek Revival when it was built, probably about 1830, the last house on Old Pier Road. That means it is quiet, a two-minute walk to the cove beach, which feels like a private beach and yet is onlhy a couple of miles from Wellfleet Center. Our dog loved wandering through the tall stands of beach grass along the tidal flats.
HOUSE. The house is remarkably equipped. Paper punch? Check. Scrabble? Check. First
Aid kit? Check. LED bulbs? Check. We couldn't think of a thing that isn't supplied. That's also true for virtual things: wifi worked perfectly (except during a brief, dramatic storm) and so did premium cable on big screen TV in the LR. And Nick Nicholson, the landlord, went out of his way to reassure us about the storm -- and about any other questions.
LOCATION. Wellfleet is large enough to include almost any necessary facility, including a pharmacy and a vet. We liked playing tourist on the shopping streets there -- and were pleased to do more of that on the short, beautiful drive to Provincetown.
There were two of us for most of the week but two children and their two boys came for a couple of nights, comfortable in two addtional bedrooms. They want to come back. So do we.

"This house sparkles with everything that’s special about the Outer Cape. It is tucked away at the end of a sandy knoll with water at every turn. Stroll down a sandy path to Burton Baker Beach, perfect for swimming and sunset views of Great Island. Or walk around the bend to Indian Neck Beach for a wider expanse of sand and bay. The house is clean, modern, well-equipped, and filled with light. Lots of windows and cooling breezes. Upstairs is a large bedroom with deck, updated kitchen, and spacious living room/dining room. Downstairs is laundry room and two bedrooms with sliders to a patio. The location is perfect for anyone who loves to walk, with many different options. Our favorite was to head out early to Fields Point, a nature preserve just to the south. Town is a short drive or bike ride away. This was our fourth year at this house, and we look forward to returning. Our adult children accompany us every year—for all of us, this place epitomizes Wellfleet at its best."
