Wellfleet at its best
"This house sparkles with everything that’s special about the Outer Cape. It is tucked away at the end of a sandy knoll with water at every turn. Stroll down a sandy path to Burton Baker Beach, perfect for swimming and sunset views of Great Island. Or walk around the bend to Indian Neck Beach for a wider expanse of sand and bay. The house is clean, modern, well-equipped, and filled with light. Lots of windows and cooling breezes. Upstairs is a large bedroom with deck, updated kitchen, and spacious living room/dining room. Downstairs is laundry room and two bedrooms with sliders to a patio. The location is perfect for anyone who loves to walk, with many different options. Our favorite was to head out early to Fields Point, a nature preserve just to the south. Town is a short drive or bike ride away. This was our fourth year at this house, and we look forward to returning. Our adult children accompany us every year—for all of us, this place epitomizes Wellfleet at its best."

"My husband and I stayed here the first week of October 2015. We found the location to be very convenient for our visit. We have been to the Cape many times and preferred this quiet spot in a residential neighborhood to a hotel on a busier roadway. The ferries out of Hyannis are a short drive away. We enjoyed our day trip to the Salt Pond Visitor's Center and hike to Coast Guard Beach. We also drove to Dennis to rent bikes and ride the Rail Trail. We stopped by cranberry bogs being harvested and took a walking tour of Chatham. So fun! Watching the sunset at Gray's Beach was memorable.
The cottage was perfect; so typical of homes on the Cape. It was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. Linens and towels were provided for a small fee. Thank you to the owners for working with us. We will recommend your cottage to our friends and family."

"This place is an absolute gem. So much so my instinct is to give it a terrible rating so no one else finds it, but Deb and Mary are far too wonderful for that. Being from NYC we walk everywhere, and from the house we were able to get to 2 different beaches, restaurants, packing stores and mini-golf. I can never remember staying in a rental as much as we did this amazing home. The backyard is Eden. Quiet, beautiful view, tons of sun and with tons of different seating options. The gardens are all very Cape Cod feeling. SO incredibly dog friendly in every manner. Deb gave us a tour and laid out a grid for our trip upon arrival. Let us know all the best places to go, showed us some hidden gems. The trip was the perfect get-away and I am already looking for a time to make my way back. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Side note - some really great golf courses within 30 mins if you're interested. Played both Hyannis Golf Club and Dennis Pines. Hyannis much more playable if your more of a weekend golfer. Dennis is a more of a challenge, buy the course book for $3 or try to hook up with some locals - course knowledge could save 3 - 6 strokes, no kidding."
