  • Lovely Wellfleet location

"Loved this home and the location. House was immaculate and included everything we could have needed, no need to bring anything but food! Upon arrival the home smelled wonderful from the finished basement to the top floor bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved having coffee and breakfast in the great sun room in the morning and relaxing on the cozy couches at night. Great location, close to plenty walking/running trails, plenty of beaches! Quietly nestled away from the road and heavy traffic. We visited after Labor day weekend so everything was very quiet and serene in the area, we loved it! Still warm enough to do some sunbathing at the beach and even go for a quick dip. Dulcie and Paul quickly responded to any questions prior to the trip as well as during our visit, very easy reservation process, no hidden fees or expenses. Thanks for making our vacation so enjoyable, we couldn't have picked a better place! Hope to stay here again in the future!"

  • Relaxing family vacation spot

"The antique cottage in Chatham is the perfect house for a relaxing family vacation. We visited early fall when the leaves were changing, and we had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable- we felt as if we were right at home the minute we walked in the door. The rooms have plenty of antique charm but are updated and well taken care of and equipped with all of your needs such as: a dishwasher, washer and dryer in the kitchen, two TVs with cable, Wi-Fi, etc...There is plenty of space to spread out. My wife and I stayed with our newborn and we had both sets of our parents come and stay with us throughout the week. We were all very comfortable- there are two dining spaces- one in the kitchen and one dining area making it easy to relax and have family dinners. The sun porch is cozy and a nice place to relax. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach which wasn't crowded. We found some affordable, delicious restaurants in the area and the supermarket in town was great and had all of the needs for our growing newborn. We wish the weather was better so we could enjoy the fire pit outback- looks like fun! All in all, the stay was very enjoyable and comfortable for the entire family. We would love to return. We highly recommend this house as a relaxing getaway for your family vacation."

  • Excellent location, good layout for large family

"We had a great stay at this home. With a few easy fixes it would be perfect. The layout is nice for a large family to be able to hang out and visit. The open floor plan was great at night. It also has a den off of the living room so that the teens could have their own space. The rec room in the basement was great for entertaining the younger kids with games and tv. We enjoyed the large deck. The only negatives are easily fixable and some were done while we were there. The grill was not working for the first 3 days, which was difficult for a large crowd to cook. The oven was also not working well. The oven mitts were filthy and I replaced them myself. Can opener needs to be replaced. Also not clean on arrival. The cleaning crew came shortly after we arrived and spent less than 3o minutes there. Pretty ridiculous for a $200.00 cleaning fee that was charged.Especially since expectation was to wash and dry all towels, strip beds, clean all counters and broom clean before leaving. All in all I would still recommend to stay here."

  • Perfect home for a stay on Cape Cod!

"This was a fantastic place for us to vacation on the Cape. I brought my son's family with me, so we had 3 adults and two teens and a 10yr. old. This house had great space for all of us. The décor was in a tasteful beach theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with the things you would need to cook great meals. My sister lives in Cotuit, so it was easy to get to and from for visits. We enjoyed a walk down Scudder Lane to the beach Sunday followed by trip to Barnstable, a wonderful quaint village. We went out to Sampson's Island and were able to use the beach chairs the owners had available. The week was full with a Whale Watch, campfires on Sandy Neck Beach, Trip to National Seashore and P-Town, and a trip to Boston. Took in a few Cotuit Kettleers Baseball games and the Patriots training camp. This house was perfect for all our plans. The only downfall I have, was not having WIFI with everyone using the internet. Actually I wasn't able to connect to the land line, but Sturgis Library saved the day to make return reservations. Also having linens available has always been a common practice with other VRBO's. Bringing towels and bedding, etc. Was a bit of an inconvenience. Over all the experience of being in this location on the Cape and in such a nice home was wonderful! Thanks for letting us experience this great vacation home! Dana"
