"The uniqueness of having the ocean on one side and Scorton Creek on the other makes this property incredibly special. The cottage itself is in great condition and maintained very well. It is Cape Cod in and out. The owner, Arlene, took the time to point out the excellent restaurants in Sandwich and nearby areas and also connected us with a local kayak store who dropped off our rental kayaks ahead of time at the cottage. She went out of her way throughout our dealings to ensure our stay was a priority. So for us, it was arrive and our vacation started. Did I forget to mention that Scorton Creek is perfect for kayaking and it's tidal flow and geography create some excellent fishing in the creek and just outside it's mouth. We had an awesome time and have lasting memories from our stay. Thank you for sharing your special place with us Arlene."

"Our stay on Popponesset Bay could not have been better! The secluded, private setting made for a very relaxing "get away from it all" vacation, even with two rambunctious granddaughters and one great nephew! Though the first few days were especially warm and humid, the large screened back porch facing the bay was the place to be. The breezes continually flowing though it, cooled us all off and we spent afternoons (when not out exploring) relaxing there and eating there every evening. Even though my sister also has a home in Cotuit, we spent every evening at this vacation home, mainly because of the wonderful back porch. All amenities were welcomed, especially the large propane grill, beach umbrella and chairs, cooler, and the beach pass. Many times when we were at Loop or Oregon Beach we saw the patrol checking and citing cars with no stickers! Having Internet access was a major plus, as were were all "connected" at many times during our stay. The short walk to the private beach made for easy, rambling walks along the shoreline. The marsh grass made swimming and fishing impossible, but the "treasures" we found along the shore each day were a bonus--even a useable baseball, as well as lots of shells. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. We would stay again, if I can get all the family together once more."

"This was our second visit to Chatham and I have to say this house was perfect for my family and I. It is wonderfully situated just 10 minutes walk into the town for great shopping and restaurants (definitely try Vers and Bluefin - amazing sushi) and beautiful beaches. The house itself is equipped with everything that you could possibly need and was lovely and clean and welcoming. The finished basement was perfect for the kids and on the one rainy day that we had all the games downstairs came in very handy! We also loved the bikes and tried out the fantastic bike trail that you can spend a whole day on (plus the roads are very safe). All in all, we had a brilliant holiday and would definitely recommend it without hesitation."

"Loved our stay here. Our favorite feature of the condo was the spectacular view from the panoramic wall of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the deck/bay. Perfect for unbeatable sunrise views. The pictures don’t do the view justice. The location in the west end was fantastic as well – quiet, residential area that is instantly relaxing but just a quick, easy walk to town. One day we walked the other direction instead and discovered the Red Inn – our new favorite spot for happy hour oysters!"
