"This rental is perfect for families (even two families). The kitchen is beautiful, porches and decks ideal, and clean, up to date bathrooms. Walk to the beach, groceries, bakery,CVS, and to town in five minutes. New Master bath and garage parking a major bonus."Guest: Rebekah P. "Our three generational family (10 people) had a great week's stay in this roomy, comfortable house in East Falmouth, only a short walk to a private beach. The house was clean with spacious bedrooms nicely decorated, and comfortable beds. The living room couches accommodated many people, and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool table in the finished basement was a bonus, and even the youngest enjoyed playing (rolling the balls into pockets). The screened porch provided a great place for storing beach gear helping to keep sand out of the house, and also provided an extra place for eating and various arts and crafts projects. Although there is a little traffic noise from the street in front during the busiest part of the day, it is not audible inside the house, and the big backyard (with a brand new gas grille) provided space and privacy. Drivers were also very courteous about stopping to allow safe street crossing to go to the beach. We didn't need to contact the owner during our stay, but knew where he was and how to reach him. Downtown Falmouth is a very pretty town, with nice shops and restaurants, a playground and carousel for kids, a weekly farmers market, and an occasional concert on the green. More commercial shopping (supermarkets, etc.) is easily accessible. Driving into town along the beach seeing the many Cape Cod "cottages" contributes to the feeling of being "away". As an added bonus, the Barnstable County Fair which happened to coincide with the week that we were there, and on another day we took the ferry to Oak Bluffs, in Martha's Vineyard. All in all we had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend both Falmouth and this property."Guest: Susie G. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 26, 2014View listing
"We love this place! We've stayed in this lovely home two years in a row and we'll be back again in 2013. We've stayed for three weeks each year. We have a large family, including not very mobile in-laws so the ground floor master is perfect! They can sit on the deck watching the ships go by while the grandkids are on the beach having a blast. You will see the most incredible sunsets ever!! Very friendly neighborhood. Very responsive owner. The house had several major improvements from 2011 to 2012 including new appliances, internet, mattresses and other furniture. The photos don't show all the upgrades. The home has always been clean and well-maintained. Fabulous location right on the beach yet just over the bridge so close to Boston. The Lobster Trap is a terrific nearby restaurant. The bike path along the canal is wonderful. We've been renting on the Cape for 15 years and this is now our favorite spot."Guest: Mary K. "We had such a great time at Michael's beautiful Provincetown home. While there was supposed to be 4 adults, 1 young child and our dog, circumstances brought about only my husband and myself being able to go on vacation. As it was our 25th anniversary, we had a wonderful time on our own. The house is comfortable and wonderfully decorated. We felt right at home. Michael made the rental process easy with his warm and welcoming manner. We loved every minute of our stay, especially the sunset over Herring Cove. Provincetown is an exciting town, even off-season (which is when we prefer to visit). If ok with Michael, we will definitely be back to stay at his lovely home again. Thank you, Michael. We loved our stay at your Provincetown home."Guest: April Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 25, 2014View listing
