"Stayed in this house for a week in August 2014. The description does not do it justice. My extended family all stayed here and the house was plenty large enough for all of us-there was 8 adults, 3 20+ year olds and a baby. What terrific set-up for the baby-put them in the studio and baby could sleep while we enjoyed the beautiful deck and yard and all the lawn toys. The kitchen is truly amazing, nothing but the finest china, cookware and glass ware-all pampered chef. We were able to prepare large meals for all of us with plenty of room for cooking and seating. We also were able to all sit and eat on the deck and utilize the grill. The included linens were as good if not better than any fine motel. A truly memorable family vacation, I only hope we can do it again."

"We honestly couldn't have asked for more- this place was great! It is tastefully furnished and decorated. The decor is up to date with hardwood floors, granite, and stainless steel appliances. Also, it was very well- equipped with everything you would need- plenty of linens, Keurig plus coffee maker, bottled water, plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans, and the list goes on-
We loved the location- right by Herring Cove. It was quiet and there was a pretty view of the water from the top floor.
Due the cold weather we didn't walk into the main part of town-although it could be easily walked- about 10 minutes through nice residential streets.
Best parts- very clean, great location, gas fireplace, the cupola and top deck for sunsets, all channels on TV, knowing we could call if had any questions, dual/rain faucet shower, beautiful windows, WIFI, friendliness/helpfulness of owners, JoLynn's help, champagne in fridge, fresh poinsettia for the holidays, coastal/contemporary/comfortable decor"

"We spotted this home last year when we were renting another home in the area and immediately wanted to rent it. We’ve always wanted to rent one of the waterfront units at Maushop Village. We particularly liked this street because it is a quiet dead end with little traffic. We contacted the owner and the rest is history. We totally enjoyed our stay is this awesome Maushop cottage. It was a perfect week at the ocean for us. The ocean views were truly amazing from just about every window and both patios have great views. We could see to Martha’s Vineyard from the dining room table just as advertised . We loved sitting out on the front patio enjoying a glass of wine, watching the boating traffic after a day at the beach. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and very nicely furnished. It had all the comforts of home including HD TV, Wi-Fi and even an ice maker! The owner was easy to deal with and quickly answered all of our questions. Looking forward to next year there."

"What a great place to revisit memories with our adult children and their children.
The home is well appointed and having the bikes/helmets and kayaks at our disposal was appreciated. The pool table was also used by most of us at some point in our stay. The tv and surround sound was a little tough to figure out at first.
We would strongly recommend this home for large families seeking a place for vacation."
