"This truly is a charming place to stay. The only inconveniences that we experienced were the house phone was unavailable due to "battery issues" with the handset nowhere to be found and the first few days weather was very hot, where the there was no breeze in the evening to alleviate the heat accumulated throughout the house from the days warmth. When we arrived the first evening, the inside temperature was 96 degrees and the fans provided worked overtime for a few days. Remember, there's no air conditioning which is not uncommon in this part of the country. Aside from the hot weather granted us the first few days, a cool front provided much needed relief mid-week and the rest of the vacation stay at this house was great. No complaints otherwise. Recommend it if you want a clean, cozy, nice "cottage-like" feel for your stay. Well stocked with whatever you need (of course you bring your own groceries, etc.). I would certainly return here but not in August."

"After a busy week in NYC, we drove up to Cape Cod for a more relaxed week, an area I'd wanted to visit for many years. The house is beautiful and in an amazing spot on the bay, very well maintained, very well equipped, very comfortable and perfect for our family of four with two teenagers. We ate at the house mostly but Mezza Luna Italian restaurant in Buzzards Bay is recommended - fantastic food and faultless service. The house is located in a perfect position at the start of the Cape, making Boston in the north and Provincetown at the end of the Cape both around an hour's drive away. We hired bikes and there is a lovely ride along the canal to a beautiful sandy beach. Lovely day spent on Martha's Vineyard although had we been more organised, we would have booked in advance and taken the car over so that we could have had more freedom to explore. It was the last weekend before school started so the return ferries had long since been fully booked. We had a great day though and it is quite easy to get around the island by bus or taxi. Falmouth is stunning, such a pretty town. We also visited the Drive-In Theatre at Wellfleet - a real treat for us Brits, we didn't even know what was showing until we parked up but we HAD to do it! We all loved our base here in Cape Cod and really hope that we will be able to come back again one day."

"Recently returned home to the UK from our stay on Nye Road in Falmouth where we expected the house to be great before we arrived however we were blown away when we got there. We have teenage daughters so it is like 5 adults going away & this house gave us all the space we needed to have a really relaxing week. The location is fantastic, close to the town but still really quiet at night - we couldn't hear anything that would disturb us. Jenny was most helpful from the day I booked & she is the perfect host. Now we are home, I am already missing the long evenings in the huge garden sipping a nice glass of wine. Would recommend to anyone & will hopefully return one day."

"We just came back from our third stay at this house. We love it, and go back every year! It's clean, well-organized, and very well stocked - you just need to bring your own linens, but everything else will be there - any sort of kitchen appliance or tool that you may need (including a cappuccino machine), pillows/blankets, etc. There is laundry in the basement. The location is perfect - a little over a mile away from Craigville Beach, about 1.5 miles away from the Hyannis Center, a little over half mile to the nearest supermarket. You can buy a weekly pass for the Craigville and other Barnstable beaches for 50 bucks. The owner is also really nice and easy to deal with - responsive to emails, responsible and reasonable. We highly recommend this house!"
