Wonderfully Welcoming & Ideally Located
"My friends and I rented this house for Memorial Day Weekend May 22nd-May 25th 2015.
We had an incredibly wonderful time - the house is spacious, with lots of room for games, activities, relaxing and many rooms to accommodate a large group. The kitchen was perfect for our weekend, we were able to BBQ easily and found all the equipment we needed. We spent a great amount of time on the outside chairs and the long table that comfortably sat our entire group for enjoyable dinners!
We adored the fact that the linens were provided, that we were literally 2min walking from the beach, about 30/35min walk to Main Street Hyannis... the cleanliness as well as the convenience of working with the owner to accommodate all our needs.
It's clear that this place is used to receiving groups because we never ran out of anything. We definitely recommend it to families and large groups; the peacefulness of the neighborhood as well as the proximity to the mall and other entertainments make it an ideal spot!"

"This place was a great home! The house was very spacious, clean and in a great location. Plenty of room for all (seven adults & a curious active toddler). No one was on top of each other. Spacious yard for activities & games and for a toddler to explore. Convenient walk to beach (Colonial Acres) up the street, which was perfect for niece's first experience with the beach (she loved it)...not huge waves, water wasn't freezing & water not deep. Yet, house was within short distance of Seagull Beach, which older nieces/nephews (when had visited) could enjoy (larger waves for them).Would definitely rent again. Thank you Paul & Marilyn."

"We were a party of 8. 4 adults and 4 children. The bedrooms were perfect for the exact needs of everybody. The house was immaculate, charming and had plenty of room to move around. The grounds are well maintained and lovely. The outdoor shower was wonderful and a pleasure after a long day at the beach.
The kitchen included everything you might need to prepare meals. We barbecued almost every night and loved having everything at our disposal.
The house is a few blocks away from the private beach which is very nice. We went to Sea Gull beach most of the days and that is only a five minute drive away with plenty of parking. It's $20 to park but well worth it. The town is only a few miles a way from Hyannis, which was perfect. One of the days was cloudy so we took the ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket. There is an inflatable park a couple of miles down the road and the kids (and adults) had a blast at that for the day. There's a supermarket a couple of miles down and plenty of shopping for your other needs. There are a few mini golf courses on that same strip. The mall is only minutes away as well.
We had a great time and thank you to the Barnetts for answering all our questions!"

"We spent a wonderful week here and it had everything we needed and more! Everything was provided by the owners. We had one little problem midweek and Peter and Madeline came round straight away to sort it. They live next door, but allowed us our privacy during the week, just popping by on the first day to say hello and then again when we needed them.
Had there been a very good rating on here I probably would have chosen that as there were a few things that didn't work and a couple of very squeaky beds, but the views and the relaxed feel of the place more than made up for those little problems. We all enjoyed using the kayaks and it was a perfect place for us to stay on our trip to Massachusetts. We will definitely be back again one day!"
