  • Clean, comfortable & convenient

"Wonderful rental house in Pocasset. Very clean, convenient to the local beaches, including a short walk to a small beach at the end of the street. This small peach/sandbar was perfect for my 11 month old granddaughter. Beds were firm & comfortable, and living spaces were sufficient for our group of 7. The front porch was pleasant with a water view and table to take meals. The owner stopped by on Saturday to greet us and to make sure everything was in order for our stay. One caution we learned: the top step down from the 2nd floor disappears into shadows during certain times of the day. Be careful you don't miss it and stumble down the stairwell."

  • Lovely

"This is a lovely rental, clean and well maintained, and only steps from the sound with beautiful sunsets, and a short walk to town. The house has everything you need and is perfect for large families: Beach towels, washer and dryer, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans (if you want to cook -we ate out mostly), out door shower and three bathrooms, fenced in yard for kids, sand chairs in the shed, and games for the evening or a raining day. A walk to town for breakfast or coffee and a pastry is always pleasant, and a glass of wine on the deck is lovely. There are a number of good places to eat in or near Harwich Port ranging from seafood shacks to gourmet dining, and on a raining day try taking art lessons (adults and children) at the Pickett Fence in town. Chatham ( the next town up) is a good place to go shopping for nice gifts for an "outing," and there are some good places to eat there too, as well as seal watching. Stop by the Chamber of Commerce in Harwich Port for brochures on activities and sight seeing. The landlord is very helpful so don't hesitate to ask for suggestions and guidance."

  • SUPERB

"We heartily endorse all the other reviews of this superb apartment. Provincetown is a stunning village with beautifully preserved homes, great restaurants and entertainment. This rental is in an unbeatable position in a quiet area bang on the water. Access is easy and be prepared, as you come down the side entrance, to be amazed at just how beautiful it is. Those who remember the 80's and a tad earlier will recognise some of the décor, all splendidly arranged in a most appealing way. The kitchen is a knockout - a joy to use and with everything you could possibly need. The local seafood ( lobsters!! and don't miss Wellfleet oysters) is first class and incredibly well priced. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom very spacious and a comfortable lounge. But THE VIEW! Waking up to stunning dawn vistas and sitting on the deck as the sun goes down is hard to beat. To cap it all off the owner, Barry, is excellent to deal with. He provided detailed responses to our questions (our first time to East Coast USA) and could not have been more helpful. This is a knockout of rental - a real 11/10 - and we feel most privileged to have been able to stay here. Thank you Barry - hope we can make it all the way back there one day."

  • Great house - Great value

"This is a large and fully equipped house, a great spot for a group. The house is fully stocked with linens, towels, beach chairs,, cooking equipment, etc. When we arrived the beds were all made. I have rented houses in this area for years, and often you have to bring your own linens and towels, so this was a particularly appreciated feature. The bedrooms are spread out among all three levels of the house and there are bathrooms attached to all of them, so this meant that everyone could have some privacy which is important when a group that doesn't normally live together is vacationing for a week. The owner is super responsive to any and all requests and very accommodating. The house has some minor repair needs which are about par for the course in a rental property. Nothing that is a big deal for a week. This house is a great value. We had a wonderful time there, and would definitely rent it again."
