"This truly is a charming place to stay. The only inconveniences that we experienced were the house phone was unavailable due to "battery issues" with the handset nowhere to be found and the first few days weather was very hot, where the there was no breeze in the evening to alleviate the heat accumulated throughout the house from the days warmth. When we arrived the first evening, the inside temperature was 96 degrees and the fans provided worked overtime for a few days. Remember, there's no air conditioning which is not uncommon in this part of the country. Aside from the hot weather granted us the first few days, a cool front provided much needed relief mid-week and the rest of the vacation stay at this house was great. No complaints otherwise. Recommend it if you want a clean, cozy, nice "cottage-like" feel for your stay. Well stocked with whatever you need (of course you bring your own groceries, etc.). I would certainly return here but not in August."

"My family really loved staying at Barry's vacation home. Barry was a great host! He was very responsive to any questions we had and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The property is walking distance to Old Silver Beach which the kids loved. From the house you could be just about anywhere you wanted to go visit in less than 45 mins which is great for my 2 yr old and 6 yr old whose ability to stay calm in the car is limited :) The house was plenty big and could easily fit 6-8 people. The kitchen was well stocked which made eating at the home a breeze. While parts of the house are not air conditioned there is a good sized TV room which is air conditioned that made for a great retreat during those really hot summer evenings. The outside shower is also a great addition allowing you to get all the sand off prior to going inside. A great vacation home! Great location, great value and great host! I would absolutely rent from Barry again."

"The trip up the Cape to Wellfleet, then off the beaten path as directed where we were thrilled to arrive at this lovely home! Immaculate, wonderfully appointed, you won't need a thing, and everything it is described to be and more! The location, the house and the grounds offer every opportunity for lovely private woodsy views and relaxation any time of day or night.
Then with easy proximity to great local restaurants and to fishing wherever you'd like - bay or ocean, the touring by foot and car, the beach hopping and so much more. We were afforded a perfect Cape Cod holiday, on the National Cape Cod Seashore, in a fabulous home. Yes, wow! We can't wait to go back!"

Excellent Price for a wonderful location in South Yarmouth
"We had a group of 5 adults stay at this home for a long weekend while attending a wedding just down the road at Red jacket Resort. The owner was incredibly easy to work with and very prompt in responding to emails making the booking very easy.
The house has a VERY large kitchen with everything you'll need to whip up a few easy meals. Master BEdroom queen bed was very comfy. We all enjoyed the outdoor shower as well. Charcoal grill had everything we needed to grill up some wings Sat night.
If you are looking for brand new granite blah blah blah this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for old timey capecod this is the spot!
We walked to the windmill beach was 5 mins up the road, small beach but very nice to sit and watch the boats cruise the Bass river. Bakery up the street was great, grab some cinnamon rolls! Plenty of good food options right up the street on Old Main st and Rt 28.
Only thing to mark it down a star would be to clean up the Backyard a bit. Table and chairs provided but there were a lot of trees w/ limbs broken hanging over the yard."
