  • Unique and beautifully appointed

"Over the years my family has rented numerous summer homes in Wellfleet. For five years, we owned one. This house rates as a favorite experience. The house is unique, modern, clean, and extremely well-appointed. The two patios, one with a table that would seat eight easily and the other in a sunny spot with comfortable lounge chairs, look down a wooded hillside. I saw hummingbirds, an owl (a real one, not the ones placed to discourage predators), and many songbirds. The perennial gardens are beautiful. The owners have furnished and decorated the house tastefully and eclectically. While everything you need is there, everything you don't need is not (for example, the medicine cabinets, bureau drawers, and bedroom closets are empty and ready for your stuff). It is extremely private and yet conveniently located because you can get to Wellfleet town and harbor on quiet back roads without getting on Route 6. Part of the house's charm is the unique architecture. The concrete floors are cool and clean. Natural light and cooling breezes come through the skylights in nearly every room. This means that if you are light sensitive you will wake with the morning light. My guess is that some people will love this and some people will not. We very much enjoyed our stay!"

  • Wedding weekend

"This house was perfect for our family to gather for a wedding last weekend. The house was clean, well equipped and convenient. Only bad was the coffee maker broke but the neighbor was kind enough to have a coffee maker for sale at his yard sale so for $5 we were ready for our dunkinn coffee. Someone else was selling tomatoes ans thai basil....yum. We were so busy with family activity we did not see much of the natural beauty of cape cod up close and personal but we would come back here...definitely. Only negative was the yard was overgrown so grandchildren could not play there. We were so busy otherwise not a real problem on this trip."

  • Wonderful Cape Cod Home

"I booked Saturday Farm as a reunion get away with my five girlfriends from High School in the Midwest. We now live all over the country and came together to celebrate our big 70th birthdays! My husband joined us and put up with all five of us and helped out in many ways!!! The place is charming, centrally located on the Cape so it was easy to get around and go to the major towns for shopping, etc. Everything was completely well stocked. The owners, Cindy and Harry , are wonderful and we felt completely at home with them being in the house behind us. Then, there were the baa boys...the resident sheep who just made the whole week even better. They are simply adorable! In conclusion, I would highly recommend Saturday Farm!"

  • Great house in perfect location

"3 couples (my wife and I, and both sets of our parents) and a baby had a blast at this house. You're 1-2 blocks from the harbor, a 10 minute beautiful walk to Main street, and what a great price. We've stayed in many houses found on VRBO, and I can say I was very impressed with what was inside the house. Usually we are hopeful for sugar and ketchup. This house had everything from coffee to condiments, nice tvs and dvd player, beautiful bathrooms with really nice showers/tubs, trash bags, paper towels, everything to do laundry and clean up. Also had a nice supply of kitchen stuff (stainless steel pots & pans, plenty of cups and utensils, grill outside). I brought half my kitchen expecting nothing to be in the house and was so very pleasantly surprised. Can't say how the house would be in prime season, but we had an amazing trip here right before Memorial Day. I would highly recommend to anyone."

Best Time to Book Cape Cod Home Rentals

In summer, Cape Cod beach house rentals offer access to the beaches, bicycle paths, family parks and regional golf courses. The top vacation rental season is from May through October. Cape Cod rentals can also provide a secluded and romantic getaway in the colder months. In winter, most vacation rentals offer great off season deals. However, when booking your rental in Cape Cod, remember that some attractions are only open in the summer.

Things to Do Near Cape Cod

The Cape Cod beach house lifestyle revolves around the ocean, the outdoors and many popular attractions. Find abundant fresh seafood in the area – eat clams in Falmouth Harbor or lobster in Eastham. Shop along Main Street near your rental home in Chatham, on the ‘elbow’ of the Cape. Rentals at the very tip of the Cape in Provincetown enjoy the creative influences of many years of being a haven to artists, writers and an eclectic mix of vacationers and residents.
