  • My first choice the next time I'm in Boston!

"I stayed here a few days before checking into a hotel for a conference, and loved it! The beautiful brownstone was in a really great location. There were nice local restaurants within walking distance, and a number of historic sights nearby (could be walked to if you don't mind a longer walk or you can take a short subway ride). The apartment was clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. I loved how well lit the streets are at night, too. I wish my streets were this well lit as these were! But, this apartment felt more like home than a hotel ever will. If I'm being really nit-picky, the only negative was that the person in the apartment above sometimes walked hard. This was in no way a big deal, and happened only once or twice. It's definitely not something that would keep me from booking again in the future, and shouldn't keep anyone else from booking this super-cute place either. I would recommend this place (and have already done so) to anyone wanting an alternative to a hotel. I was a little unsure about booking and staying in an apartment in the beginning - having only stayed in hotels when traveling - but, had a great experience and this is a place I'd love to stay in the next time I'm in Boston. It is my first choice. My favorite activities were the Freedom Trail guided tour and the Duck Tour. I learned tons and got to see a lot of the city. I saw some other sights, but these two were my favorites."

  • Wonderful apartment in great location

"We couldn't have asked for a better location or a more darling apartment for our 4 night stay in Boston. Every detail was anticipated down to the coffee for breakfast. We have found that sometimes older apartments are lacking somewhere but not this one! Usually it's the shower that isn't up to par but not this one. Plenty of hot water. We so appreciated the restaurant recommendations and all of the little cards throughout the apartment that answered any question we might have had. We would definitely recommend it to our friends!"

  • Lovely condo!

"We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The place is lovely - much larger than it looks in the photos. Sarah was very helpful, and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is great - we love JP! Our daughter and her family live nearby, so we'll visit again and most certainly stay here again. Thank you for everything."

  • Large house, big dining room table, secluded upscale location, very nice owners

"We had 12-15 people and it was nice to have everyone together. The house is in pretty good condition on the inside, looks like it could use some touching up on the exterior, but that didn't bother us. I met both of the owners (husband and wife) and they were very helpful for anything we asked. I would stay here again. The main floor has 3 bedrooms: 1) two queen beds, 2) two queen beds, 3) one queen bed. The 'basement' has 2 bedrooms: 4) one full size and one twin bed, 5) one queen bed - semi private as it has louvered doors on one side. I think we had 2 rollabeds. All 3 main floor bedrooms had sliding glass doors that open to the dining room - odd for a house, but this was or can be used for meetings. It wasn't a problem. Plenty of parking next to the house. The deck was pretty large and nice to watch the ocean and stuff. Plenty of seating for casual hanging out. All of the furnishings were pretty good - none was unacceptable."
