"You really can't beat this place. It's located in one of the most beautiful and accessible places in Boston. If you are in reasonably good shape, you can walk to all of the major tourist attractions on this side of the river. Most are less than two miles away. The subway is ~2 blocks away and you can be across the River into Cambridge in the blink of any eye. It's a 15-minute taxi ride from Logan duruing off-peak hours. The apartment itself was comfortable, clean and light and the owners were extremely easy to work with. Deposit was cherrfully and rapidly refunded days after the trip. Easily the best VRBO experience we've had to date. My only caveat -- and it is minor -- if you have problems walking, you may find the steps necessary to get to the apartment something of a challenge. They are steep and many. Not an issue for us at all, but worth bearing in mind depending on who is in your party. I'd highly recommend property to any small family or group interested in Boston sightseeing."Guest: TheTravellers Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 7, 2014View listing
"This was the perfect place to stay - homey, close to public transportation, and quiet. It was a quick T ride or a nice walk to the Copley Square convention center where I had a conference. The family was able to have a base to explore some of the off the beaten path beauties of Boston - Olmsted's emerald necklace gardens and the fine arts museum. It was very convenient for our rental car with lots of free street parking. The owners are wonderful."Guest: Elissa Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 1, 2014View listing
"My husband and I happened to book this boat because all the hotels in Boston were over-priced due to the graduation season. But it ended up making our vacation very special. Regardless of our early morning arrival due to our red-eye flight, the owners, Jack and Gretchen, tried their best to welcome us as early as possible. The boat was located at a gated dock, it was very safe and was close to the Little Italy (the famous Italian neighborhood), Haymarket, and T-stations. The interior space of the boat was very cozy and adventurous as if we were kids again. We brought back great Italian food and wine to enjoy our romantic dinner at the rear deck sitting area. Due to our booking schedule, we had to stay at a Back Bay hotel on the last night in Boston. On a big couch in the hotel room, my husband sighed, "Ah, I wish we were sitting at the boat deck now." We both know that we would book the boat every time we visit Boston from now on."Guest: Kay G. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 11, 2014View listing
"Just returned from a fabulous 4 day stay in Boston and this perfect apartment! As a frequent user of VRBO, I am always aware of the "little things" that make a big difference. This apartment is very clean and well appointed. The pillows and linens are top notch, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you may need. We even enjoyed the common outdoor space of the building. This space is small, but never felt cramped. The location can't be beat. We picked up the trolley tour in front of the capitol building, which is a very short walk. We were able to walk every place we wanted to go: the esplanade, Quincy market, Faneuil Hall, the North End (get a cannoli from Mike's Pastry), Boston Common, the Public Garden, even Fenway Park. The subway lines are also very conveniently located. You won't be disappointed in this apartment. It is beautifully done and will be our first choice on any future Boston trips!"Guest: Bev Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 26, 2014View listing
