"Our stay coincided with Fall and Halloween and it was a charming, delightful and lovely apartment to stay in for our few precious days in Cambridge visiting our son.
Set in a lovely street so close to Harvard Square we could walk to breakfast at Crema Coffee and then back through the Yard to the Gallery every morning along leafy streets lined with colourful boarded houses.
Plenty of room for two with parking at the rear in a period property of simple but elegant charm. Yes we awoke every morning to the enthusiastic patter of tiny feet and heavier parents above but with jet lag running our time clocks it didn't really matter though to others it might.
Well situated for both Cambridge and central Boston this was a great apartment which we would definitely choose again."

Brownstone apartment within walking of the Commons.
"My family of 5 (me, my mother & 3 young boys) stayed here for 4 nights in Aug 2015. We really enjoyed our stay! Check in was easy and everything was ready for us! There is an A/C unit in the living room and one in each bedroom. (I never noticed the noise from AC other than normal) In the largest bedroom is a stacked washer/dryer combo that was very nice to have! We were very comfy temperature wise and actually turned the A/C off a bit at night. My three young boys didnt have to be careful (although we still tried to be courteous) with stomping being upstairs as these apartments are solid.
Yes the apartment is old. Most brownstone apartments are in Boston. I agree that the bathroom and kitchen could use a little more of a deep clean (vent a hood & bathroom shelves for example) but the floors were spotless (even under the beds) and bedding was fresh (extra bedding is also available)! The bathroom sink had some issues draining but everything else was good. The tub was nice and deep with lots of hot water. Had plenty of outlets available and even had games etc for kids tucked neatly inside of drawers! There is a park at the south end of the street and at the north side was a very nice underground parking garage. (Pilgrims Parking i think)
If you understand parking in Boston then they told us that there are a few "visitor" parking spaces available on Dwight street but we didnt use them.
There isnt any views so to speak from the windows but we were only there at night and stayed busy all day! The neighborhood felt safe and had a pizza/sub a block away going west and a CVS east a few blocks. There is also a 7-eleven two blocks North. Wifi worked good and boys enjoyed the TV although they were so tired by the time we got back that they didnt watch much.
Thank you James for being part of one of the best vacations we have had! Sorry we didnt get to meet you but we appreciate your professionalism!"

"Our first visit to Boston led us looking for the perfect apartment to stay in. This studio was more than enough space for our weekend getaway. Very cozy and quiet but still in the heart of Cambridge! Less than a ten minute walk to the T and close to everything in walking distance. Steve was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. He was very hospitable and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This home is exactly what you need to have a fantastic getaway vacation. So relaxing to sit and watch the lobster fishermen check their traps early in the morning & in the evening watch the sun set from every window, in this wonderfully laid out house. It has 3 levels & very private with all the amenities. It is located on an island setting but close to so much activity and nearby beaches. We loved taking the train into Boston, visiting all the historical sites along the "Freedom Trail." The seaside communities of Salem, Swampscott & Marblehead are all close by and offer an array of great restaurants in the area. Of course my favorite highlight was to cook our own lobsters in the big kitchen in the house (there are actually 2)! The separate living arrangements make it ideal for couples or larger families as well. Ocean views and sounds are amazing, and comfortable bedrooms make for a restful night. Plenty of room for any event and socializing. We would definitely come back to this beautiful and unique venue."
