"This is an excellent apartment in an absolutely perfect location. My family of four came to Boston when I ran the marathon. This apartment was a five minute walk to the expo and maybe fifteen minute walk to the finish line. My family was able to easily walk to the Mile 25 marker to see me.
Marathon aside, the apartment is spacious enough for two adults and two small children. The kids shared the pull-out couch in the living room. There's a Trader Joe's within a 5-10 minute walk, as well as a corner market. It's a short walk to the many shops and restaurants and cafes on Newbury and Boylston Streets, as well as the Green Line for the train. The Charles River is one block away, with gorgeous views and a long running/walking trail. There's a huge playground within walking distance on this path as well. The owners of the apartment have a huge list of local restaurants and helpful tips.
The bedroom, and apartment itself, can be a little noisy. The building, while gorgeous, is older and has multiple residences. The normal sounds of people coming and going, as well as the alleyway behind the apartment, can be heard. Everything you might need for easy meals is in the apartment, with the exception of a toaster!
We visited the Children's Museum, the Aquarium, the Science Museum and did a Duck Boat Tour, all within a short train or cab ride. We highly recommend this property!"

"Had a nice one night stay on the Golden Slipper. Gretchen is friendly, had good communication with us and was super flexible about our uncertain arrival time. The location was super, so near to the north end with all those tasty restaurants. It was even handy to Logan, we called the Water Taxi and they picked us up from the dock (but allow 20-30 min. of 'slush time' since you have to take the free shuttle bus to actually get to the terminals.).
Staying on the boat was comfy, beds good and nice little deck on the aft for an evening cocktail and breakfast. The fridge even had a few breakfast goodies. There's a Starbucks and well stocked (but expensive) grocer within a 5 min. walk. Would definitely consider staying there again."
