"The apartment is on the second floor, with rather steep stairs. The third bedroom is actually a loft that is reached through the second bedroom. The arrangement was perfect for our three grandchildren. The apartment is very close to Inman Square,. We recommend that you buy a Charlie Card with unlimited bus and subway and take bus # 83 or #91 to and from the Central Square T station. From there it's just a few stops to central Boston. This will save a long walk down Inman Street. Other than an overhead light out in the kitchen and the ice maker not working, everything was fine (There were ice trays). All necessary utensils were provided; and although there was only air conditioning in the kitchen and the third bedroom, fans was provided in the other two bedrooms, which we found quite adequate. We appreciated having coffee and sugar left in the apartment."

"I highly recommend this apartment. Carolyn and Bill are extremely friendly and accommodating (even allowing a later departure on the scheduled exit date, and this was highly appreciated). The apartment is really very nice. Very comfortable, especially the queen sized bed and modern, particularly the kitchen with state of the art appliances. I was there for a weeklong course at Harvard, and the location of the apartment is very practical - a three minute walk to the metro station, a five minute wait and ride to Harvard Square, and then five minutes walk to my final destination. Couldn't have been any better! For sightseeing in Cambridge and Boston, the apartment is perfectly situated. Many great restaurants in the vicinity if you wish to eat around the neighborhood. My only recommendation would be for Carolyn and Bill to consider a tv/cable, for those of us who are news fans. Otherwise, perfect and highly recommended."

"We traveled with our adult children to Boston for 4th July and loved staying in Chestnut Street. The location was fantastic, near Boston Common, Back Bay, Freedom Trail and right in the middle of Beacon Hill. The apartment was gorgeous - there was plenty of room for 4 adults and the aircon worked very well! Would definitely recommend."

"Our group(5 couples) spent a week at this property it was great. House was very nice. Easy access to the subway about 5 t0 6 blocks but felt safe in the neighborhood walking around. If any complaints steps were a little noisey and need better shades on french doors in bedroom on main floor for privacy. Plenty of room in the main living space, really nice kitchen and deck area. Had a great time and price was good.Would Rent again from this owner in a heart beat."
