"My wife & I celebrated our 25th in the Salon Beacon hill residents. The salon was a perfect location and comfortably suited for a romantic weekend for two
The Owners are a pleasure to deal with and the Salon is a very peaceful, but city center hide away. We loved our stay in Beacon Hill and will cherish the memory. Caution, you won’t want to end your Boston vacation

Perfect location for a ramble around Boston by subway!
"The Fort Hill Inn was the perfect home base for rocketing around Boston for two chilly January days! It was cozy and picturesque. The room we had with double bed and private bath was not at all too small. The tub was deep and claw footed (as well as a shower). There was a microwave and mini fridge as well as coffee and tea making supplies. Every thing was clean and well stocked. The personal touches made it feel like we were staying at a friend's house. Just the opposite of a boring blah hotel room! Climbing the very steep staircase felt like climbing into a piece of history. It is close to the subway and restaurants within walking distance. Might be a bit of a walk for some, but we loved getting a feel for the neighborhood on foot. There didn't seem to be a grocery type store close at hand, just a convenience store (which didn't sell beer or wine) wasn't a big issue for us and we didn't ask Terry but he may have known of one. All in all it was just a lovely place to stay. Thanks Terry!"

"This place is situated in the most quaint street just one block back from Boston Common. It's location for sightseeing is perfect as you can walk just about everywhere. It is in a safe neighbourhood and the Cheers bar is only 2 blocks away. The home is so quaint and very spacious with two teenage boys it was perfect. The restaurants are all close by and Charles street is just 2 blocks away and you will find something to eat there. We did find though 21st Amendment a really good pub and it has such a good selection of food (although the portion sizes are very large) and the staff are friendly. We also found ZEN Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar which is near the 21st Amendment a very good sushi place with reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Boston except elderly people as the stairs could be an issue."
