"Stayed for 3 nights from Oct. 9 - Oct 11th. Great location for me as my son lives in Allston and it was an easy train ride. T-line very easy 5-8 minute walk. One think I'd advise. The apartment complex is a bit isolated if you don't know where you are going (sorry even with directions I may have gotten lost). However, if your home computer has Google Earth (and if not a library will have it), just look up the address. It gives a fantastic bird's eye or street level view of the entire area. I arrived late at night and had no problem finding the place as I had already "seen" the area on Google Earth and knew exactly where to go. It does help to Google Fenway T-Station first (if you come on the train) to see where you will stop. The apartment was clean but nothing fancy - no probs there. It was good enough weather that I needed neither the heater or air conditioning, so can't say how they work. I would consider the same place again if that helps."

"My husband and I had the most wonderful time staying at the very charming Apple of Boston! The owner made everything so easy for us from start to finish! The Apple of Boston is furnished with everything you will need, including a hair dryer:) We also enjoyed having the kitchenette in the unit. It was such an excellent experience!
We absolutely loved Boston and hope to come back and stay here again!!! Thank you!"

"My stay was better than could ever be expected. The location of the apartment could not be more centrally located to everything that Boston has to offer. Within a 5 minute walk to historic Boston Common and 10 minute walk to Faneuil Hall, Boston's historic North End and high end shops of Beacon and Newbury Street. The T was also just a 5 minute walk, which made getting anywhere in the city very convenient. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and appears to have been recently renovated with a new kitchen (including dishwasher and all that you would need to make dinner), a very nice built in book case full of interesting reads and an overall cozy feel on the top floor of the building. The roof deck's view is worth a million dollars with views of the sailboats on the Charles River, and amazing views of the city and skyline in all directions. I came here every morning to have my coffee and enjoy the amazing view. It is located in the amazing neighborhood of Beacon Hill with it's beautiful brownstones. A walk around the neighborhood at night felt very safe with many people out enjoying the finally warm nights, and people walking around photographing the amazing architecture during the day. The owner was very easy to deal with, and was waiting for me with my keys when I arrived at 11:30 at night after a long flight. I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay, and I would highly recommend this beautiful apartment to anybody seeking the perfect apartment for their stay in Boston."

"Boston was booked due to the Boston Marathon. We decided to try Home Away for the first time instead of a hotel room. We had the first floor of a 3 family home. It easily fit 2 adults and 2 children. We did bring our own air mattress for one of the kids but that's only because our son is all over the place when he sleeps which disturbs his sister. Otherwise they would have fit fine on the sleeper couch. The apartment was finished with just what you need. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the harbor. It is conveniently located near the T, only 1 stop away to the Aquarium/Faneiul Hall. John and Melissa were very easy to reach, easy to work with and helped make our stay a wonderful experience. We definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Boston.
Thanks John and Melissa for making our experience so pleasant!"
