  • Top Floor, top notch

"For just about two weeks I stayed on the top floor at this location on Monument avenue and found the accommodations to be fantastic. The room is quiet and bright and the bath is brand new and extremely well appointed. I felt at home there and thought Charlestown was a great, friendly location near downtown where I had business to tend to. I recommend this location and will return for business or just to visit the city."

  • Beacon Hill's Finest

"I stayed in this apartment for 6 weeks while working in Boston. I give it my highest recommendation. I have rented 2 other Beacon Hill apartments off VRBO during my travels, but this one, hands down is my favorite. It is clean, comfortable, and has everything you might need for an all inclusive rental. The location couldn't be better, it's safe and close to tons of restaurant's, and Whole Foods is a short walk away. And to top it off, literally, is that incredible rooftop deck. The view is great, perfect for coffee or happy hour, and as inviting as it is, I had the place to myself 95% of the time. Iwona, the owner couldn't be nicer nor a better hostess. She met me there with the keys, and was available by phone anytime I had a question. Beacon Hill is a great, historic area, and this is the only place I want to stay when I go back again. Thanks Iwona."

  • Great value accommodation for a couple near Harvard

"We came to Cambridge to spend some time with our son who is studying at Harvard. We were delighted with the accommodation at Murhouse - much more spacious and homely than a hotel room and with many more facilities. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen which meant that we could have meals in the apartment. One thing we did miss was an electric kettle - guess this is a cultural thing because we are tea drinkers not coffee drinkers. Very comfortable bed but the fridge makes a bit of noise which was noticeable at night. Good bathroom and laundry facilities, nice and clean. Host was helpful without being overpowering. Location was very convenient - we used buses to get to and from Harvard and Lechmere and then the T to get into Boston - very easy. Maple Ave is a beautiful street, we loved the architecture of the houses in the area. We hired a car for a day and it was great to have parking. We would definitely recommend the apartment and hope it will be available whenever we come back to Cambridge."

  • Well presented and thoughtful accommodation

"We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and found it very welcoming and comfortable for 3 adults. We didn't quite work out the shower, but all managed to get wet! We really appreciated the extensive notes on the apartment, nearby restaurants and where to park. The apartment was clean, the couch was fantastic, and overall it was an enjoyable experience."
