"This was a wonderful gem, spacious, clean, with all the amenities. The best part was Sharon who was totally accessible and went over and beyond to make my 10th wedding anniversary surprise magical. She made this one of my most memorable trips to the vineyard......highly recommended rental."

"We stayed for the first two weeks in August. This is our eighth vacation on the Vineyard and this house, location, and pool are real standouts. The property manages to be conveniently close to farm stores (we especially liked the one at Ghost Island Farm), grocery stores, and good restaurants (less than five minutes to State Road Restaurant) yet so private and secluded that the peace and quiet is what struck us every day and night. Bunnies in the yard, deer in the driveway, song birds in the trees. The house and pool are oriented so that the pool is in full sun all day but the deck right next to it is in the shade. That keeps the pool water at the perfect temperature -- warm but still refreshing -- and gives folks who don't want too much sun a place to hang out in comfort. Pretty landscaping and plenty of chairs, chaises, and shade umbrellas. The house has two queens and five twins so perfect for families. Having one bedroom downstairs, with a full bath next to it, is also a great convenience for visitors who need to avoid stairs (or want to take naps after lunch!). The master bedroom upstairs was spacious, big closets, great bathroom en suite. The kitchen is well-equipped. Fast Internet. Attractive and comfortable furnishings inside; bunnies, deer, and song birds outside."

"We loved this cottage. It was exactly the type of lodging we'd envisioned when we were planning our Martha's Vineyard vacation. The location is ideal, and the cottage is attractive, clean and comfortable with all of the modern conveniences. We loved the privacy of the deck and the convenience of being able to grill outside. Also, having laundry facilities, WiFi and excellent air conditioning were all real pluses. The owner, Rita, who happened to be staying the week we were there in the attached unit was so very gracious, helpful and pleasant. All in all, it was the perfect place for us and we hope to stay there again in the near future."

"We had a wonderful stay! It seemed FAR on the first day, since we decided to walk with our luggage. But after that, we were able to walk back and forth to the center of town (Circuit Ave shops) in about 15 - 20 minutes. It is definitely a mile, but a straight shot. Cabs were a different price every time we took one, from only $7 for one person from the ferry, to $21 for five of us to Nancy's. Tip - we found a convenience store that was closer to the house that saved us from having to go into town more. It is called Tony's and it also has better hours, a deli and wine/beer!
The hammock out back was one of my favorite spots. It is definitely a nice location - the last house on a dirt road, so no traffic or worries about cars once there. Our only concern was walking the dirt path at night, so we made sure to be inside or cab it after dark.
The only drawbacks are 1) the extremely narrow spiral staircase to the lower level (heavy-set people probably cannot use it, nor can you take your luggage down it) and 2) the second bedroom downstairs is in between the first bedroom and the bathroom, so keep in mind that you will have to pass through that person's bedroom to use it. Works fine if it is a kid, not an adult who needs privacy. There is also a water heater inside the bathroom.
Other than that, it was perfect for our girls' getaway! The owner and his property managers were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay there again."
