"This is our second time in the guest house and we so appreciate the exquisite property. The owners are great, and live there year round. Their love of and attention to the beautiful grounds are evident: it's an absolutely lovely site in the middle of wild flowers and trees, and the property and delightful pool (a true refuge during the humid summers) are all beautifully maintained. Peaceful views from every window. We recommend renting the entire "compound" for the most privacy, but really it's so nicely laid out that everyone has privacy, quiet and their own sense of solitude or community when they want it. It's also both totally secluded (it's a mile off the main road on a rough dirt road--which only actually enhances the shangri-la like effect when you turn down the drive and see this vision) and yet has very easy access to Edgartown, the airport, all the other townships."

"We have stayed in Sarah's little bungalow for a few years now, and every year there are new updates and amenities! This year was the best yet as she extended the deck of the back of the home and added patio seating. The outdoor shower, which is accessible directly from the master bedroom, has been there for years and its fantastic - private and spacious. My whole family prefers to use that over the indoor shower (which is just fine, incidentally). Sarah added a 1/2 bath this year making the home much easier to live in for a family of four. It is now 1 1/2 baths. My kids are 16 and 13 now, and even at this age they love sharing the upstairs loft. The loft is open to the downstairs but the two sleeping spaces are divided and have curtains that you can pull across if you want privacy. Another favorite feature is the front porch - morning coffee every day with my book. So quiet and peaceful even though you are just a quick stroll through the woods to the Stop & Shop or a 10 minute walk into the heart of Edgartown. An incredibly convenient location! Ride bikes everywhere from here in addition to taking some nice walks. We always bring our dogs which we so appreciate as they are part of the family. The bungalow is always immaculately clean and Sarah has it decorated in charming, cottage fashion. Not fancy but perfect for a Vineyard vacation! I encourage you to try it out!"

"To start, overall , we loved our stay this year in this cozy, tasteful ly decorated cottage. Peter and Caren are friendly, and respectful of your privacy. Furnishings were just what you needed for a relaxing beach vacation. This was perfect for 2 people. My husband and I have visited MV over the course of 17 years, and this year was one of our best vacations here. I was aware of the lack of air conditioning in the cottage, but was willing to take a gamble and rent, as the breeze on the island is comfortable. To my disappointment, there were 2 days that were hot and humid, and very uncomfortable. Although fans were provided, and I brought one of my own, it was uncomfortable. I have to say, you can't predict what mother nature will do, as far as weather, but I feel that it would be advantageous to provide a small energy efficient window air conditioner. I would rent again and again, if provided. Loved the place !!!"

"This is a really special place. We loved being on the farm, kayaking to the beach, biking with the dog without traffic, sitting around the fire pit, and the night-time star-gazing. I also loved the hammock, the outdoor shower, and the gorgeous garden and grounds-- wild berries all over. The house itself feels like an artist lived here. My teen boys LOVED it, and loved Becky."
