Perfect Spot, Lovely Home!
"I stayed her recently on a family getaway that included toddlers, grandparents, and in between. The location is amazing -- we could walk to shops, playgrounds, the library, the water, and so easily bike or drive to the beach. But the street is still quiet and so peaceful. The house itself is so lovely and well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you could ask for and a great big table, two sitting rooms for quiet time, game playing, etc. And the bedrooms are all comfy and lovely, and set apart enough to provide privacy. I could easily see another family vacation here, but it would also be perfect for groups of friends. Oh, and the fenced in backyard is perfect for bocce, wading pool, or sprinklers! Truly a gem."

"It's a rare occasion that my entire family - which is dispersed across the East Coast - is able to come together, and Denise and Keith's beautiful Edgartown home provided the perfect haven for us while we visited Martha's Vineyard for a wedding. Our stay happened just after the summer season ended, but the house is SO close to the beach (walking distance) and is also close to a number of great restaurants and local gems.
The interior of the home itself, particularly the spacious upstairs area, is well-kept and inviting, and the sun shines so brightly upstairs that it gives the whole floor a nice warmth.
One of the key elements that made the experience worth 5 stars was liaising with the owners during the rental process. Denise is so wonderfully friendly, helpful, available, communicative and just lovely. Hopefully we will get the chance to return to Martha's Vineyard as a family and stay in this beautiful home again."

"My wife, 14 month old daughter, and I stayed here for a week in early July 2014. This house was perfect for us. The bedrooms are nice and very adequate for what you'd want in a place that you are staying for a full week. The kitchen is nice with most everything that you'd need/want. There is a nice big family room with high ceilings and 2 large couches and plenty of room for kids to play. There is also a flat screen TV and DVD player (and Joe has it stocked with lots and lots of DVD movies to choose from!). The back deck is great and the outdoor grill was very nice to have. We used it 3-4 times.
The best thing about this house (for us, at least) was the location. It is a 5 minute walk to the grocery store, which is extremely helpful. Downtown Edgartown is about a 10 minute walk. There is also a school nearby with lots of open fields and plenty of jungle gyms and swings for kids. If you don't plan on having a car during your stay, this is a great house because you can walk to so many things. We did have a car and only really used it to go out to South Beach and to travel to other parts of the island to explore.
Joe, the owner, is very responsive to any questions or concerns. We had only one small issue with the outdoor shower not being turned on, and Joe responded to our email immediately and had the issue resolved in a matter of hours.
We highly recommend this house to a family with young kids or to a couple (or a set of couples) looking to have a nice quiet vacation on the Vineyard."

"Rita's rental is in a wonderful location. Immediate access to the bike path, great for young kids. A 3-5 minute bike ride to the Edgartown Harbor just thrilled my 10 year-old daughter, as did the 3-5 minute walk to Katama Market. From the moment we entered the cottage, we noticed how clean and well-maintained it was, including obvious recent renovations. The owner was also a joy to work with as she was always quick to respond with thoughtful answers throughout the process, from reserving dates to dealing with the lease, to questions about the island. This place is a fabulous deal, in my opinion."
