"The hillside cottage was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the most peaceful area of the island. the house itself was wonderful and well maintained. dinners on the rooftop deck with the view of Menemsha Pond and the ocean beyond were priceless. the easy access to a spectacular private beach and to kayaks on pond added to the unique character of this vacation hideaway. If you get the chance, stay here."

"Last month we spent a perfect week at this house. Great location. It is located both on and off the beaten path. It is in a quiet, country area, yet only a minutes off Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Rd., and the bike path which runs along side of it. You can easily getting biking to any part of the island from here. You have only a few minute drive into Edgartown, and South Beach. The supermarket is on the way to Edgartown, along with the bicycle rental shops, butcher and seafood shops. The butcher will do any of their many marinade choices for your grilling. Nice deck for outdoor dining, and televisions in all the bedrooms rooms. There is a great area for hiking and mountain biking right across from where Clay Pit comes out onto the Edgartown-Vineyard haven Road, if you are so inclined. Also, Cliff was a great help with questions throughout our stay, and he quickly and cheerfully sent me my my iPod which I left at the house"

"We stayed here for a golf weekend with 12 people. This place was great! The owner was super and very receptive to our needs. The place is immaculate and has gorgeous views. We spent hours just sitting on the porch. Two minute walk to downtown Oak Bluffs/Circuit Ave. Walked to great restaurants and bars. Easy taxi ride to Edgartown and other locations on the Vineyard. There is driveway parking for two cars and a huge, beautiful yard. Plenty of beds & baths. Everyone loved the steam shower! For weeks after our stay, everyone is still talking about what a beautiful place this is. We can’t wait to stay again next year! Thank you Sissy!"

"I stayed at Sandy Feet Retreat with family and friends and there was plenty of room for us all to relax and have fun together, or find quiet time alone. The main house has a very large living room, a dining area with a beautiful, large table, and a very functional kitchen with everything you could need to cook meals together as well as a gas grill outside. There is a screened in porch with couches and chairs as well as an open porch with a double swing overlooking the back yard. There is also a wonderful, large hammock which turned out to be a great spot for an afternoon nap. Back inside the house, there are two bedrooms on the first floor: one with a queen bed and one with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There is also a full bathroom on the first floor with a fantastic walk in shower. The upstairs has a laundry room, a master bedroom/bathroom that is quite large and wonderfully designed. There is also a queen bedroom also with its own bathroom upstairs. The guest house is very close to the main house so you have privacy, but yet do not feel removed from the the main house. It has an outdoor shower which I used every day, a living room and eat in kitchen on the first floor along with a half bath, and the entire second floor is the bedroom! Both houses are very well appointed, decorated with interesting artwork and items the owner has brought back from her travels, and very clean. I looked at the photos on this site many times in anticipation of my stay, and the houses and yard are even more beautiful in person!! It was wonderful to meet the owner and care taker in person as they are wonderful, friendly people. I can't say enough about how happy we were to stay here, and it is clear that Kati put a lot of thought into the design and decoration of the homes. The location is removed from the main road, but still close enough to walk to Morning Glory Farm or to hop the bus, ride your bike, or even walk to downtown Edgartown. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back!!!"
