Owners are Super Nice Down to Earth People
"A great place to relax and unwind. Cottage is located in a good central area to see the island. The owners even had a Keurig and supplied various wonderful coffee flavors. It was a great treat to wake up to every morning and greatly appreciated. The yard has everything you need to kick back with nice privacy. We are thankful to have stayed at this great spot. Highly recommend this to others."

"My wife, 14 month old daughter, and I stayed here for a week in early July 2014. This house was perfect for us. The bedrooms are nice and very adequate for what you'd want in a place that you are staying for a full week. The kitchen is nice with most everything that you'd need/want. There is a nice big family room with high ceilings and 2 large couches and plenty of room for kids to play. There is also a flat screen TV and DVD player (and Joe has it stocked with lots and lots of DVD movies to choose from!). The back deck is great and the outdoor grill was very nice to have. We used it 3-4 times.
The best thing about this house (for us, at least) was the location. It is a 5 minute walk to the grocery store, which is extremely helpful. Downtown Edgartown is about a 10 minute walk. There is also a school nearby with lots of open fields and plenty of jungle gyms and swings for kids. If you don't plan on having a car during your stay, this is a great house because you can walk to so many things. We did have a car and only really used it to go out to South Beach and to travel to other parts of the island to explore.
Joe, the owner, is very responsive to any questions or concerns. We had only one small issue with the outdoor shower not being turned on, and Joe responded to our email immediately and had the issue resolved in a matter of hours.
We highly recommend this house to a family with young kids or to a couple (or a set of couples) looking to have a nice quiet vacation on the Vineyard."

"This was the first time in many years we had to rent a house in Edgartown and were pleasantly surprised. The house provided modern amenities, and since it has 2 separate living areas, the young adults had their own space! The wrap around porch and expansive backyard provided the perfect place to relax and play lawn games. We LOVED being able to walk to Morning Glory..nothing beats their zucchini bread! Donna was responsive, very easy to work with and concerned about making sure her tenants are happy...more landlords should follow her example!"

"We stayed at the Captain Morse House in Edgartown, MA during the Thanksgiving Week. This was a beautiful time of year to visit. It is an awsome vacation rental! The location is second to none as it is about a 3 block walk to town for the restaurants and shopping, the light house, and relaxing views of the water.
This is the ideal house for a multi-generational family gathering or a group of friends as the house is plenty large and has a great backyard with seating areas. Plus the two fully furnished kitchens are a nice touch!
I would stay again on my next visit to Martha's Vineyard!"
