"We just returned from a heavenly stay at this lovely property. So relaxing - vintage Vineyard in all the best ways. Carlin, the owner, is a delight to work with, her property gracious and comfortable, and the setting ideal (just a short walk or bike ride to town or to South Beach and to nearby Morning Glory Farm and the fantastic Edgartown Meat and Fish Market). As lovely as the interior is, I especially enjoyed the outside. The landscaping and flowers are just beautiful - and there is nearly always a great north-south breeze blowing - making it a perfect place to flop down on the comfortable hammock and read. Our only small change might be to find a way to jack up the air conditioning, but we are folks who really like cold, perhaps more than most :-). Highly recommend."

"We loved this cottage. It was exactly the type of lodging we'd envisioned when we were planning our Martha's Vineyard vacation. The location is ideal, and the cottage is attractive, clean and comfortable with all of the modern conveniences. We loved the privacy of the deck and the convenience of being able to grill outside. Also, having laundry facilities, WiFi and excellent air conditioning were all real pluses. The owner, Rita, who happened to be staying the week we were there in the attached unit was so very gracious, helpful and pleasant. All in all, it was the perfect place for us and we hope to stay there again in the near future."

"Last month we spent a perfect week at this house. Great location. It is located both on and off the beaten path. It is in a quiet, country area, yet only a minutes off Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Rd., and the bike path which runs along side of it. You can easily getting biking to any part of the island from here. You have only a few minute drive into Edgartown, and South Beach. The supermarket is on the way to Edgartown, along with the bicycle rental shops, butcher and seafood shops. The butcher will do any of their many marinade choices for your grilling. Nice deck for outdoor dining, and televisions in all the bedrooms rooms. There is a great area for hiking and mountain biking right across from where Clay Pit comes out onto the Edgartown-Vineyard haven Road, if you are so inclined. Also, Cliff was a great help with questions throughout our stay, and he quickly and cheerfully sent me my my iPod which I left at the house"

"To owners Paul and Karen, well done! You have created an oasis in the middle of an oasis. Your guest house was just perfect for the two of us, and could have accommodated more, with plenty of additional bed-space and living space. Loved the hot tub. Loved the surroundings. We ate in almost every night -- probably upset a number of local restaurateurs, but then......
Thanks also for letting us in a bit early, and allowing us to stay a bit late on checkout day. As you know, we discovered a flat tire on our rental car when we went out to load our luggage into the car. That little surprise necessitated a hurry-up tire change to the mini-spare tire, then a rush to Oak Bluffs to an auto repair shop to get the tire fixed, and then a rush back to your guest house to load up just in time to rush back to Vineyard Haven in time to make our ferry reservation! Quite a morning, last Friday. Our trip home was uneventful, except that my suitcase apparently decided not to leave your guest house (just kidding!). It did not arrive with us as we flew home to Boise. But, I have it now, so all is well that ends well.
Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Jan and Jack"
