"Stayed for a week off peak. Lovely house in quiet area about a mile from Oak Bluffs. Very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend and would go back. We didnt use the kayak but having bikes included was fantastic. Several choices with helmets available. Very smooth process throughout. Good to have a car though as island is pretty big."Guest: Eamon O. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 14, 2014View listing
"We spent 2 nights over labor day weekend this summer and this house could not have been more perfect! The house was clean, comfy, and Molly couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended it!"Guest: sophie r. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 28, 2014View listing
"This was our family's second stay at this location. It was better than the first. We had 4-5 stay here and 4-5 at another location. The grandchildren loved that they could ride bikes around the circle and walk to the bakery and candy store. The adults were happy that the children were happy. Eating and cooking was a little difficult with 9 people but we had the table, backyard table and the porch and we tend to cook some and order out to go with it. Not fun to bring 4 young ones to a restaurant. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. Our only question was about Wi-Fi but Jonathan had checked with us to see if everything was OK and I called and asked for password. My fault I didn't read the booklet on the table. The caretaker also stopped in the first day to check on us. Activities included West Tisbury Farmers Market, fishing at Menemsha, beaches, children's performance of Beauty and the Beast, painting lanterns at Tabernacle , biking, 2 tours Trustees of the Reservation (family friendly)on Chappaquidick, Illumination of the lanterns, fireworks, West Tisbury Agricultural Fair(a real old fashioned fair), Chilmark Flea Market and back door donuts. If you don't have a car or bike, no problem. There are buses that go all over the island at a very reasonable price. Only drawback is the ferry reservations. We didn't call early enough and arrived at 8:00 AM and leaving was at 9:00 PM. Did I mention that the weather was perfect. Loved every minute."Guest: Grandma's Vacation Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 25, 2014View listing
"My family has stayed here four summers in a row. Between kids, friends, and parents, we never know quite how many people will be with us, but always find the perfect room for everybody of all ages. It's a peaceful, beautiful, and quiet setting, yet we can walk to town in minutes for food, entertainment, and fun. We use the kayak in the pond (and brought a stand up paddle board this year). Being so close to the bike path is a huge plus, and after our busy, busy, days - there's nothing better than relaxing on the porch with a view of the water. Barry and Jamie live on the island, and are available/responsive if we ever need anything (which is very rare). The kitchen has everything we need, linens/towels are abundant, and the outdoor shower is delightful. We have been coming to MV for many years, and this house has been our favorite by far!"Guest: robin w. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 21, 2014View listing
