"We enjoyed our 2 week stay in this home. The room sizes were large, and provided ample gathering and quiet time space for our family. It is a brief walk to Vineyard Haven downtown area and ferry, which is nice. The strolling wild turkeys that paraded thru the yard daily proved amusing to our children. We wished the home had an enclosed outdoor shower."

"I absolutely loved this home away from home. The house is so comfortable and convenient. The short walk to the beach or to town was perfect. It was nice to be able to out and do things without needing to drive. It's nice to know I could visit without a car since the house is so close to the ferry. Although close to town, the house is on a nice quiet street - great to be able to escape from the crowds."

"We read the reviews before we booked. They are spot on. The best part of this house is the location. If you want to be in the country - book elsewhere. If you want to be in the heart of town - book this one. Our family had never been to Martha's Vineyard before, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to start. Everything, and I do mean everything, is easy to get to from this house. We took the ferry that goes into Oak Bluffs and it let us off practically across the street from this house. We walked about 4 minutes to get there. We spent our time on the island mainly exploring Oak Bluffs. We walked to the beach, to Circuit Avenue (the "Main Street" of Oak Bluffs), to the Gingerbread Cottages, the harbor, and of course, the Flying Horses Carousel. When we were ready to see Edgartown, we took the bus that leaves from in front of the house, and we were there in 20 minutes. The house is great too. It is the old 1800s Victorian - but made to be comfortable for modern living. My wife left her Prada sunglasses there (a major crisis!) and the honest house cleaners found them, and owner (Teresa) made arrangements for them to be returned by courier overnight. Would book again. Great for families."

"I stayed at this house for a girls getaway weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. We did bring a car, but always walked into Oak Bluffs for dining and shopping. One night we walked to the bus stop and took the bus right into The Atlantic in Edgartown for dinner. Getting around was so easy! The house itself is spacious with a beachy vibe and very clean. The shed was stalked with lots of beach chairs, games and even a bike! Going with a large group can be tricky to coordinate, but I really enjoyed the convenience of this home. I'm an early bird, so waking up early, walking into town to get coffee and drinking it on the front porch before anyone wakes up - simply perfect. Can't wait to return again next year!"
