  • Great home. Great location. Great views

"I have been vacationing on The Vineyard for over 55 years. This home is in a great location: quick ride or walk to both Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. New kitchen with granite counters is highly functional. The home easily accommodates a large family or mixed group. The kitchen, eating area (with two tables - enough for 10-12), and living/seating area are all one room. Just off that area are the wonderful great room with fire place, two bedrooms, and a bath. Two of three upstairs bedrooms are a nice size, the third is small, but has a twin bed with pull-out trundle. A second frig in basement is great for food and beverage overflow. Then, on top of all that there is the "L" shaped porch and 3-season room. Large yard right off the porch is great for games and lounging. High hedges on three sides give lots of privacy, too. I highly recommend this property even for an off-season getaway."

  • perfect martha's vineyard get away

"We have rented this house two years in a row. It is perfect for our family of five. There is plenty of room both inside and outside. We love all of the nautical and beach details throughout the house. The back porch is perfect for grilling and watching the stars. Our kids are particularly fond of the tree house and of having the upstairs bedrooms to themselves. It is also very close to the bike path that leads to the beach and into edgartown. We can't wait to return next summer."

Once you book Martha’s Vineyard rentals, it is time to start planning what you will see while you stay on the island. If you are a wine-lover, do not miss Chicama Vineyards, which is located on Stoney Hill Road. The winery offers tours and tastings all year long. If you have the kids with you during your stay in Vineyard Haven rentals, you will definitely want to stop by the West Chop Lighthouse, which was built in the late 19th century. Outdoor Activities and Martha’s Vineyard Rentals

No matter which Martha’s Vineyard rentals you end up choosing, you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be plenty of outdoor activities available. Vineyard Haven Rentals Architecture

Because so many Martha’s Vineyard rentals were built so long ago, there is a diverse collection of architecture and designs to behold during your visit. It is very likely that your Vineyard Haven lodging was built within the last decade, or more than 100 years ago during the whaling days of the island. Your rental could be the cottage or shed of the wealthiest whaler which is interesting to observe. As you enjoy your time in Vineyard Haven, be sure to look at all the different styles of architecture. You will be awed.
