"We spent three nights at Sharon's house for a girls weekend. There were five of us in total. The house was really fabulous. Being able to walk to Vineyard Haven was great, so easy for coffee in the morning, shopping in the afternoon. The five of us slept comfortably. When we were at the house we spent time on the new deck, the front porch, and in the family room. All were very comfy. The outdoor shower was awesome and house was very clean. I would recommend the house to adults as well as families. It is a little bit of a distance from Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, we had a car and we also used Uber and cabs. It worked out really well. Sharon was very hospitable, she stocked the fridge with a few necessities including wine and breakfast bread! There were plenty of pillows, sheets and towels as well as a washer and dryer. We lucked out with the weather, it was beautiful."

I completely disagree with the negative comments left by Disappointed!
"When I saw my review posted on here I noticed the previous review and felt compelled to dispute it. disappointed's review was posted whilst we were staying at the guest house, where we slept well on comfortable matresses and pillows in comfortable sheets and lounged on a comfortable sofa when we weren't out enjoying ourselves on the wonderful island. Granted, the bedding is not high thread count luxury Egyptian cotton, but if that's what one's looking for then one needs to book into a high end hotel and pay for the privilege accordingly. We thought the guest house, coupled with David's accommodating manner, was superb value and really wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone."

"We stayed here - right on main street of town - last summer for 6 weeks. It was everything we could want - spacious - lots of bedrooms and baths, charming, totally equipped with everything and anything we could imagine, historic exterior, updated interior, great dining area and patio, beautiful yard. It is close to town but quiet and peaceful, easy access to beach and restaurants - and one block to outstanding lobster rolls every Friday! Ideal, attentive owner, responsive to everything, always accommodating. We would stay there year after year but we were there last summer while waiting for our own home to be built. We recommend this home enthusiastically. Go and have a great time! We predict you will want to come back."

"This quaint Vintage 1930 bungalow is such a great find! Stroll down to Vineyard Haven (stores, restaurants, etc.) -The Steamship Authority, Supermarkets, Black Dog , Bus stop and much more @ a short distance. The house has a large back yard- good for picnics, BBQ and games- don't be surprised by the turkeys and babies that "mozy" on thru. The cozy front farmers porch - you can sit read a book &/or people/turkey watch while you sip on your summer cocktail or afternoon tea.... The bus (@ Steamship Authority area- makes several trips to all of the Island with various passes available- so convenient.
The owners are "awesome"- and if you every visit Hawaii- look them up as they have a "Beach House" that is just fabulous!!!! Enjoy & have fun on the Island- Love it...."
