  • Stayed Almost 1 Month for Nearby Surgery - PERFECT CHOICE!

"My husband & I stayed for nearly 1 month (Dec '13) while I recovered from surgery @ nearby Brigham & Women's Hospital. We originally chose the rental for proximity to B&W, it's 1st-floor location, minimum stairs. Some notes I hope you find helpful... *Incredibly clean, and I'm a total nut about cleanliness *HUGE bed *Reliable & fast Wi-Fi *Listing is true to description; in fact, we were surprised & impressed by the apartment size when we arrived *Richard (owner we primarily spoke to) is professional, efficient, incredibly fast w/ response time *Our one minor issue was fixed immediately, conveniently *Owners were happy to talk to us whenever, or leave us totally alone *Great place for "medical tourists," as it's a 5-min-max cab ride to Longwood hospital area, good area for post-surgery walking *Location is awesome for everyone! You're right "in the mix;" walking, cab & "T" access to ANY ATTRACTION *Handy shops w/in 4 blocks: Whole Foods, Economy Hardware, Wine shop, Dry Cleaners, Art Supplies, different banks, CVS, USPS + TONS more *Yummy Food w/in 4 blocks: Pavement Coffeehouse, Ginger Exchange, Ichiban Yakitori, Boston Shawarma + TONS more *Easy walk to Symphony Hall, Prudential, Newbury St, Fenway, Isabella Stewart Gardner, Museum of Fine Arts, many schools/colleges *There's a 24-hr security guard who walks the street, which was very safe in our experience *Parking a car here is costly, complicated *The 'hood is thriving & diverse; populated by students, artists, older folks, musicians, professionals, bums, professors, hospital staff -- everyone! *The street & apts are charming, pretty, very "Boston" -- you'll certainly hear your neighbors, especially students, but we didn't find it to be a problem... If you're looking for a 100% perfectly sound-proof environment, Boston is not for you *We never waited more than 5 min when we called a cab *While the tub/shower unit are older, the rest of the bath is modern & clean, great water pressure *Linens = plentiful, clean, nice *Sink/oven&stove/fridge/dishwasher/washer&dryer unit all seem new, worked well *TV's are new, have big cable packages, but no DVD *Doors/locks are new & sturdy *Lots of windows & light *Hallway & exterior of building are maintained daily, super clean. We stayed almost a month, so we had a ton of time to find problems... but we really didn't! We would rent this unit again & we would highly recommend it to family/friends! Thanks again to Richard for making the whole stay SO EASY! 5 STARS!"

  • Excellent home with amazing back yard a very short walk from town.

"Our family had a wonderful stay in this excellent home. The location is perfect -- secluded and quiet with an amazingly relaxing backyard, but just a short 5 minute walk to some of the best of Edgartown. With a group of people with different interests, it was very nice to be so close to town that people could stroll to restaurants, the grocery store, ice cream shops, and coffee shops without stranding the rest of the group. Best of all, we didn't have to give up on space or clam to get this great location. We spent many hours on the beautiful patio with the great grill and chiminea. The pictures capture everything and there are no surprises. I would highly recommend this home to those looking to explore Martha's Vineyard."

  • Great house!

"We rented the house with another family and it was great! The house had plenty of space. Big backyard and close to supermarket, good restaurants and most of the great beaches in the area. Definitely would rent this house again."

Martha’s Vineyard lodging also offers easy access to several natural attractions in the area such as the Mytoi Japanese Garden and the Polly Hill Arboretum. You’ll appreciate an afternoon of simply being in the presence of the surrounding plant life, or rent a bicycle to ride through the colorful fields of flowers and blooming trees.
