  • Great location for renting on Martha's Vineyard!

"My husband and I and our 3 children stayed comfortably at this cozy home. It is a nice walk down to Menemsha Beach. We just LOVE this area. The house itself was clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend this property."

  • Amazing Vineyard Weekend

"What a perfect weekend for a group of friends. Was so lucky to have been a part of a group trip who stayed at this beautiful home. Everything inside was elegant, and in an incredibly walkable distance from town. Such a special and beautiful place- I wish I could have stayed longer!"

  • Exactly As Described - Historic and Comfortable

"This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard, and we chose to stay in a central location to use as a launching pad for exploring the island. Two families shared the home. The home is across from Nantucket Sound where the water is calm, which was excellent for our 6 year old daughter. That beach is referred to as "the Inkwell" and is apparently very well known. Surprisingly, this home, built in the late 1800s, has central air conditioning, something you would rarely find in France. Being in the center of downtown was more than convenient. The bus leaves from the park in front of the home, and we used it to explore Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and Aquinnah. In fact, it was so convenient we used it to go the airport when we departed. The home is exactly as described. It is in excellent condition, and the biggest problem we had was that one light switch was tricky to get into the off position. It is an old house with a few creaky floorboards and other idiosyncratic matters, but the owners have spared no expense in bringing everything possible up to date. We enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and found the round table there to be the nerve center of our holiday - we spent a lot of time at that table. The dining table is also a major gathering place - it is a beautiful table made from what appears to be local wood, and has a nice oval shape for large gatherings. We grilled on the back porch, which was convenient to the kitchen. The electronics are up to date: wifi, flat screen TVs (two with built in DVD players - made showing movies to our young daughter easy as I am never able to figure out the separate DVD player), new appliances in the kitchen, etc. This is an excellent choice. You will not be disappointed."

  • Great stay

"Had a phenomenal time at David's guest house. Was very clean, well outfitted, and the living room upstairs was much larger than I had anticipated. In addition, David was incredibly generous and helped us numerous times, which was greatly appreciated."
