  • Perfect for cycling, swimming, reading

"We loved the warm family mood of this traditional wooden house on the edge of the woods. The open living room was a lovely space to flop down with a book while the deck was perfect for outdoor eating (except in the evening when the bugs were biting). The owners keep a fleet of good bicycles in the basement - perfect for cycle trips down the railway bike trail that runs virtually past the front door. The bikes are also useful for reaching to nearby beaches, ponds and national parks - much better than driving on crowded roads. The kitchen is very well equipped and the owners are friendly and efficient when it comes to the booking arrangements."

  • Lake Garfield - GREAT!

"We enjoyed a week of fishing, bird watching, peace and quiet in this comfortable home right on the water! We loved the covered deck to "kick back" and watch the world go by. We explored Great Barrington and other areas in the Berkshires. We plan a return trip next year!"

"What a great vacation cottage! I've been coming to Nantucket for many years and it's hard for me to imaging a better location on the island. The location on Madequecham Valley Road is very private with plenty of buffer between adjacent properties. The south-facing 2nd floor deck provides incredible views of the ocean including daily sunrises to the left and sunsets to the right. The online photos can't possible do the views justice! The property was clean and well-prepared for our visit. The owners care deeply about the renter's experience as evidenced by their thorough preparation and terrific communcation and accessibility leading up to, during, and after the rental. They were very helpful with any questions we had leading up to the rental period. The property sits about 100 ft back from a private beach access. The beach itself was beautiful and rarely did we see anyone else on the beach during our stay. The town of Nantucket is about a 15 minute car ride away, so access to shops and restauraunts is very good. We loved the property so much that we've already requested a rental again next year! We would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in a unique Nantucket island getaway with spectacular ocean views and beach access!"

  • location, location, location!

"I look for three things when I rent a place on Plum Island, close proximity to Parker River Refuge (we adore it), an outside space and lastly and most importantly, close access to the beach. This place is ideal, the beach access is very close, the refuge is minutes away and the outside space is lovely! The space is very roomy, plenty of space for 2 people, the seating is comfortable in the living room, and the decor is charming. The outside deck is amazing, truly the brightest spot in this cottage. (although everything is wonderful), It is actually the upper floor to a small home nestled off the road (but so close to the beach you can hear the waves breaking). The owner lives below, although when she is home you wouldn't know it. The unit includes this deck which is covered with wisteria - giving privacy, shade and lovely scent wafting through. I have rented MANY places on Plum Island over the last 5 years, but have yet to repeat a place, this one will be the first, my intention is to return next year! I have already asked about reservations. You won't be disappointed with this charming, homey, comfortable place."

Martha’s Vineyard is a popular island destination for all types of travelers just five miles south of Massachusetts in New England. Martha’s Vineyard rentals offer ideal accommodations for virtually any adventure you can find on the island, no matter the length of stay or time of year.

Choose Martha’s Vineyard Rentals and Enjoy Seemingly Endless Beaches

Miles upon miles of shoreline around Martha’s Vineyard lodging offers both beautiful rocky landscapes and soft sand between your toes. These beaches are the first thing you’ll notice during your ferry trip to Martha’s Vineyard resorts, and provide optimal access to warm waters in the summer months. The entire family will enjoy swimming in and napping next to the ocean on your secluded getaway.

Stay in Martha’s Vineyard Lodging and Tour Local Lighthouses

Schedule a tour to climb to the top and examine the interior of these lighthouses, as well as take advantage of the many photo opportunities outdoors.

Martha’s Vineyard Resorts Offer Plenty of Activity for Everyone

Any stay in Martha’s Vineyard rentals demands at least a self-guided tour of the “Campgrounds.” More than 180 cottages are privately owned and maintained, but some are available for rent, too.

Martha’s Vineyard lodging also offers easy access to several natural attractions in the area such as the Mytoi Japanese Garden and the Polly Hill Arboretum. You’ll appreciate an afternoon of simply being in the presence of the surrounding plant life, or rent a bicycle to ride through the colorful fields of flowers and blooming trees. Martha’s Vineyard resorts offer a wealth of history and culture for all that is largely unique to this special island, no matter what time of year you decide to visit.
