  • Great Escape

"We returned to Martha's Vineyard to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with friends. This property was a great escape to celebrate the big occasion. Everything in the house is well appointed and exceeded everyones expectations. We recommend this property if you plan on visiting Martha's Vineyard."

  • Best kept secret...

"This was my second year staying in this beautiful home, and I cannot wait to stay again next year! I was tempted not to write this review, because this home is such a hidden gem and I don't want to face the competition to rent, once the word gets out! We are 6 adults and 3 young children and could not ask for a more well appointed vacation rental. The kitchen is amazing - with all the modern fixtures and appliances you could ever need, the bedrooms are spacious, the backyard patio is incredible with a great grill, the yards (both front and back) provide plenty of space for the kids to run around, and last but not least - the pool! Our kids lived in the pool during our entire vacation! Add to that the spectacular outdoor shower, and you've got yourself the perfect summer house. The home is centrally located so getting to the center of vineyard haven or oak bluffs takes minutes, there are several beaches nearby, the bike trails run right in front of the house, and the owner has several bikes available for use. The owner is a great guy - very attentive and obviously cares for the home exceptionally well. We can't imagine going to the vineyard and staying anywhere else!"

  • Luxury and charm

"We spent 4th of July week in this amazing house. The weather was not that cooperative but the house more than made up for it. We were their with our two sons, 5 and 8 yrs old. The boys stayed in the well equipped barn while we stayed in the main house. That alone blew their minds! They had their own tv/game area, kitchenette and half bath. With bad weather, this much space was key to a happy vacation. The house itself is perfectly furnished and equipped. There was nothing that we did not have that we needed and plenty of bonuses like the sound system that allowed us to play our own music throughout. Every finish is high end from the quality of the dishes to the linens to the appliances. The yard and garden are beautiful. The outdoor showers were so great that I chose to only shower outside. The owner was a delight to work with. He was communicative and helpful during our booking/planning process, forthcoming with check-in and check-out details and even had a gift waiting for us which included a folder of brochures of local attractions and a personalized document detailing the places their family loves. We used the bikes, boogie boards and beach toys provided while we were there and that was a great amenity. The location of the house is rather perfect. You can easily bike, walk/run into Edgartown which we did for the 4th of July parade but it also is just outside the trafficky area of town so that we could easily circumvent that to get to other towns. Amazing property! Thanks again!"

  • Fabulous Home on Martha's Vineyard

"Just back from a wonderful week on Martha's Vineyard and I can honestly say that the house was a significant part of the experience. We kept congratulating ourselves that we couldn't have had a better house. The weather was only okay, but with the huge front porch we didn't care. We had all of our meals on the porch and enjoyed playing games, watching the ferries and boats come and go and just hanging out. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and the owner has an interesting and ecclectic collection on books. The beach is directly across the street. We loved it!"
