"We return to Chilmark annually with friends & family. The location of this house is just perfect for our nightly jaunts to Menemsha for lobster & clams. The gormet kitchen is ideal for the preparation of our side dishes. Every appliance, kitchen gadget, and knife is in working order. Although there are three full bathrooms, I never miss a chance to enjoy an outdoor shower. The property is private & secluded from neighbors by hedges & flowering bushes. The distant view of the ocean is a plus. There is much to learn about gardening, grasses, & wildlife. On our last stay we were treated by a deer family just outside the dining room window. If you arrive in the right season you might pick fresh blueberries, rasberries, rhubarb, or asparagus... the legasy of naturalist Dick Pough. I highly recommend this property for families or for three or four couples."Guest: HotPep Date of Stay: September 2013 Review Submitted: October 30, 2013View listing

"My family recently returned from staying at this lovely home. The view from the house is beautiful and a perfect way to start a day with a cup of coffee. We felt immediately at home and the house was stocked with everything, and I mean everything you could ever want in a vacation rental. From a veggie steamer to band aids, to beach towels, to Tupperware, you name it and it was there. My whole family commented on what a find this house is. We hope to go back again next year....but we plan to stay longer!!!!!"Guest: MandBplus2 Date of Stay: August 2013 Review Submitted: September 3, 2013View listing
