"We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and we spent a week at John and Linda's house. Everything was perfect starting with the hosts. John and Linda were there to make sure we had all we needed. The house is big and has everything a family could hope for to spend a perfect time without running around the store all the time. There was enough room for all of us and more. A REAL HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Our kids loved exploring all the rooms(Den, living room, sitting room-porch, dining room, 2 bedrooms and mezzanine). What more can you ask for! Also worth mentionning, it was one of the cleanest places that we've rented(and we rented a lot). There's a beach at the end of the street but there's plenty of beach within a 15 min drive. Oak Bluff, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven are towns that you want to see with a lot of restaurants and shopping where you can buy whatever you want to buy. We want to say a special thank you to John and Linda and hope to see you again in the future."

  • Great place in West Tisbury

"Listing description left no surprises. The house was just as we expected. Loved the basement games. Proved to be great family time with the kids. Place was clean and clutter free and roomy enough for our family of four plus grandparents. Owner was very responsive to my communication. We did not plan ahead and the owner went out of her way to accommodate our dates. Location was perfect for us. Close to bike paths for the kids and to great riding routes into Chillmark for me. Great yard and deck for peaceful evening relaxation. Loved the General Store and Cafe just a couple miles down the main road. I would definitely stay here again."

  • The Captain Morse House

"Outstanding location. Well-maintained, versatile house in the center of town. Wonderful back yard, bicycles, etc. Our party was large and of all ages....each enjoyed their stay here to the max!"

  • Charming, peaceful home

"I rented this home with my husband and two friends. It was the perfect size for 4 adults (and could have accommodated a kid or two as well). The home is extremely well-maintained and clean, bright and airy. It looks just like the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and filled with trees, and an easy walk or bike to the center of Oak Bluffs. We had as much fun cooking or doing nothing in the house when it rained as we did outside seeing the island. The owners were very accommodating and answered questions quickly. We hope to come back next year!"
