"5 stars to Honey Left! The location is terrific, very private yet so close to town. The cottage itself was exceptionally well maintained, very bright, comfortable and clean. We loved the artwork too! We hope to come back again."

"We've rented on the island for several years now and have stayed in different homes in various parts of Nantucket. We've been looking for a place that we can come back to year after year and this house is it. It's updated and immaculately kept. It was in a perfect location - close enough to be near town but far enough away to really feel like a getaway. The views are breathtaking with a nice size yard. It was a wonderful and very comfortable stay for 4 adults and 2 children. Our 6 year old keeps asking when we're going back and the answer is not soon enough!"

"I rented "The Scallop" for family that was visiting for a long weekend this October and I can't say enough good things about our experience! The cottage was a perfect fit for a family of six, small enough to feel intimate yet large enough to not be cramped. The cottage's location is near perfect within yards of Madaket beach, views of Millie's bridge and the harbor, and short walking distance to Smith's Point and Jackson Point. In October Madaket's only restaurant, Millie's, is closed, but the house is equipped with everything you might need for cooking at home. There is even a rake and basket if you'd like to try your hand a scalloping in Madaket Harbor, which we did and loved(with a shellfish permit from the Town of course). Another huge perk are the modern accessories provided for your use. The kids were thrilled to find a Google Chromecast and a bluetooth sound system. The sound system makes it easy to stream music from your phone without having to plug in and the Chromecast allows you to stream video, Netflix or HBOgo, from your phone or laptop. Having lived on Nantucket for awhile now, I've come to find myself loving the serenity of Madaket over the other areas of the island. If you're looking for the same, this rental is right for you."

"This is a lovely home. Well cared for. Well designed. Great flow. Nice mix of light and airy rooms, but also cool and comfy rooms to retreat to when you feel bleached out by the sun.
Immaculately clean. Appliances clean and fully functional. Lovely kitchen a pleasure to use. Owner has excellent taste and has furnished the home as though for personal use; quality linens, glassware, appliances, and so on.
Two bedrooms downstairs at some distance from upstairs master suite give parents with teens a little breathing space (unlike most rentals where a traditional format would have everyone in the same sleeping area.)
Location is ideal: near beach, but tucked away for supreme privacy and peace in an otherwise dense area. We spent days biking, hiking, beaching, but happily landed back at Clovelly for the comforts of home. Easy walk to delightful restaurants, and the bustle of Nantucket is only 20 minutes away if you need more variety.
We are already dreaming about coming back."
