My dream vacation with the most spectacular hosts!
"I have had the good fortune to rent from Amanda and Scott both last year and this year. The house is spectacular! It is decorated beautifully and the finishes are of the highest quality. It's honestly my dream home and I never want to leave.
The location is spectacular. It is extremely close to the beach at the end of the road and a short drive into town. I often even walk into town for dinner (about 30 mins) and take a quick taxi back. Nantucket is wonderful place and this home is situated perfectly to take advantage of it.
Amanda and Scott leave nothing unattended. Everything is sparkling clean and your needs are anticipated. For example, I was doing a load of laundry and pulled the dryer sheet out and thought where am I going to put this? I looked down and there was a small trash can just for that purpose. Sounds small, but tells you the level of detail they think of. In addition, they are extremely kind. Just one example: Scott helped me with the laborious process of taking down the soft top on my rental Jeep. We have shared laughs over wine and dinner and they are the most gracious people and super fun to be with. It feels like home but they also provide as much privacy as you want.
To sum it up: It's perfect. You should go. It will be the best rental experience you ever have and a dream vacation. I will be back as often as I can!"

"We stayed for a weekend and just could not take everything in. The home was beautifully unique with a gorgeous renovated kitchen. It was wonderful for a large group because there were many areas to escape to, yet a large screened in porch and dining room to collect in. The location was very handy and home was very clean."

"We visited ACK in June and stayed at this home. It was perfect for our family of 9. Everything is as it looks in the photos. Great master bath and bedroom. Large kitchen for dinners at home. Biked to the beach, Cisco Brewery and town easily. Secluded but right off the main road. Enjoyed the walking paths accessible from the house each morning. Plenty of space inside and out for an unforgettable vacation!"

"We have been renting in 'Sconset for years and I always loved Broadway and Center Street just north of the historic town pump. Ivy Lodge (as we learned on our tour) is one of the original 44 cottages of 'Sconset dating back to 1745. We also learned the old mulberry tree in the back yard is one of 3 remaining on Nantucket from 1740 when islanders made a failed attempt at growing silk worms. So much history and beauty within 50 yards of this home, I couldn't get enough.
This is not a gut rehabbed home that has been stripped of its fine character. You feel like you are walking right into a page of history. This home is situated smack dab in the middle of where most of the 'Sconset post cards are photographed and the well known artist/painter William "Bill" Welch does many of his beautiful water colors. It was a true Nantucket experience that we would highly recommend.
As for the house itself: The pictures are true to form. It is very comfortable, plenty of natural light. The front porch makes a nice setting for dinners or drinks after a day of exploring. The beds are very comfortable and it appears the mattresses are high quality and new. I particularly liked the second floor of North as it reminded me of sleeping in a whaling ship with all the beaded pine and angled ceilings. You can even hear the ocean from your bedroom, the air is so still and quiet at night. The heavy salt air had me sleeping like a baby."
