  • My dream vacation with the most spectacular hosts!

"I have had the good fortune to rent from Amanda and Scott both last year and this year. The house is spectacular! It is decorated beautifully and the finishes are of the highest quality. It's honestly my dream home and I never want to leave. The location is spectacular. It is extremely close to the beach at the end of the road and a short drive into town. I often even walk into town for dinner (about 30 mins) and take a quick taxi back. Nantucket is wonderful place and this home is situated perfectly to take advantage of it. Amanda and Scott leave nothing unattended. Everything is sparkling clean and your needs are anticipated. For example, I was doing a load of laundry and pulled the dryer sheet out and thought where am I going to put this? I looked down and there was a small trash can just for that purpose. Sounds small, but tells you the level of detail they think of. In addition, they are extremely kind. Just one example: Scott helped me with the laborious process of taking down the soft top on my rental Jeep. We have shared laughs over wine and dinner and they are the most gracious people and super fun to be with. It feels like home but they also provide as much privacy as you want. To sum it up: It's perfect. You should go. It will be the best rental experience you ever have and a dream vacation. I will be back as often as I can!"

  • Awesome in October

"I rented "The Scallop" for family that was visiting for a long weekend this October and I can't say enough good things about our experience! The cottage was a perfect fit for a family of six, small enough to feel intimate yet large enough to not be cramped. The cottage's location is near perfect within yards of Madaket beach, views of Millie's bridge and the harbor, and short walking distance to Smith's Point and Jackson Point. In October Madaket's only restaurant, Millie's, is closed, but the house is equipped with everything you might need for cooking at home. There is even a rake and basket if you'd like to try your hand a scalloping in Madaket Harbor, which we did and loved(with a shellfish permit from the Town of course). Another huge perk are the modern accessories provided for your use. The kids were thrilled to find a Google Chromecast and a bluetooth sound system. The sound system makes it easy to stream music from your phone without having to plug in and the Chromecast allows you to stream video, Netflix or HBOgo, from your phone or laptop. Having lived on Nantucket for awhile now, I've come to find myself loving the serenity of Madaket over the other areas of the island. If you're looking for the same, this rental is right for you."

  • Spectacular!

"First the basics - Seaduced is exactly as advertised, the listing and pictures are accurate, the house is clean and well maintained, the owner was pleasant, helpful and honest, we would recommend staying here to anyone and the beach is right out off the deck. My wife and I stayed here for a week with our adult sons, their significant others, our dog and my wife's mother. It was the perfect choice - everyone had their own sleeping space and plenty of common area to enjoy eachothers' company. All the room are fully furnished. None of the rooms are small. Perfect! The main living area is comprised of the entrance, kitchen, dining room and living room (all open), from the main level 3 steps down to two bedrooms and a jack and jill bath, from the main level 6 steps up to two bedrooms and a jack and jill bath. All those rooms have swinging or pocket doors. Nice! The house is outfitted with everything you need for a week at the beach - ample kitchen with cookware, tools, appliances, dishes, glasses, flatware, etc.; beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boards, kites, etc.; gas grill; deck furniture; a garage for the car; grass area for the dog; a path through the brush to the private beach; outdoor shower. Wonderful! When we arrived the house was spotless, all the beds were freshly made, plenty of blankets, towels, and pillows. Convenient! The house is very secluded, it is on an easy to navigate dirt road, directly on the beach, NOT within a stones throw of the next house. If you see another person, you take notice. Private! Pleasant sea breezes, the sound of the surf 24/7, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and moonlit, starry nights. Spectacular!"
