"This is a lovely home. Well cared for. Well designed. Great flow. Nice mix of light and airy rooms, but also cool and comfy rooms to retreat to when you feel bleached out by the sun.
Immaculately clean. Appliances clean and fully functional. Lovely kitchen a pleasure to use. Owner has excellent taste and has furnished the home as though for personal use; quality linens, glassware, appliances, and so on.
Two bedrooms downstairs at some distance from upstairs master suite give parents with teens a little breathing space (unlike most rentals where a traditional format would have everyone in the same sleeping area.)
Location is ideal: near beach, but tucked away for supreme privacy and peace in an otherwise dense area. We spent days biking, hiking, beaching, but happily landed back at Clovelly for the comforts of home. Easy walk to delightful restaurants, and the bustle of Nantucket is only 20 minutes away if you need more variety.
We are already dreaming about coming back."

"We stayed here just last week and loved everything about the place. Very clean, comfortable, fully-loaded with everything you need to cook meals at home. The location is great - quick walk to downtown and great restaurants; WAVE shuttle across the street if you prefer not to walk. Debbie was very accommodating and offered helpful suggestions. No doubt we will stay here again on our next trip to Nantucket!"

"I rented the house with friends for a September wedding weekend. Five couples stayed in the house, and everyone loved it. The location is convenient - walkable to town, a short cab rides to the ferries and airport. The house itself exceeded our expectations, and none of us wanted to leave!"

Great location, beautiful home and gardens, very comfortable and private
"I have stayed in several homes over the past ten years, and I highly recommend this home. The pictures on the site are great, but the home and the gardens will exceed your expectations. It is taken care of very well, and features a great location since it is very close to Milestone Road in Tom Nevers, which allows you to get everywhere quickly. Yet, you would never know that you are a few blocks from Milestone Road given the privacy and the serenity at this home.
This is a very good property for families. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is large, and there are several areas for families to enjoy. There is a secret shade garden with a fire pit, a large deck with a grill and plenty of other garden space (the kids enjoyed Wiffleball contests on the lawn). I especially enjoyed the library, which was a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a drink, replete with dark wood and comfortable chairs (and a TV). The rest of the house is bright and sunny, in the usual Nantucket style. In addition, the property features a very comfortable guesthouse apartment.
We stayed at this property in late June, and since we like to explore the entire island, the location is perfect. There are private beaches down Tom Nevers Road, and plenty of places to go for a nice drive (we rented a jeep and enjoyed the trail off Milestone Road and others).
In short, as a frequent traveler to the island who has stayed in several homes, I highly recommend this vacation rental. You will not be disappointed!"
