"We loved staying in this pretty, clean, comfortable and well-appointed home in Siascconset. Lovely area for walks and easy to walk to the village. A nice private back yard with deck off the back of the kitchen. I would definitely rent again. I feel like I have a new friend with the owner who was very friendly and considerate about the rental arrangements. I highly recommend this rental property for a nice visit to Nantucket."Guest: Liz Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: November 26, 2013View listing
"We stayed for one week in August. There were 6 of us total - 4 adults and 2 kids. The house had plenty of room, and the upstairs was really fantastic. We all enjoyed just "hanging out" and enjoying the wonderful cross-breeze upstairs. It's also close to the beach and (Sconset) town. We biked into to Sconset often, and our kids had a fantastic time. The outdoor shower was great. We didn't end up bringing our dogs, but were happy knowing we could have. We would come back again in a heart beat!"Guest: CR Date of Stay: August 2013 Review Submitted: September 26, 2013View listing
"This was our first time in Nantucket and we had a wonderful and relaxing experience at Svargaloka. The house is perfectly located on a bluff overlooking the beach and just steps from the hub of the quaint Sconset village with market, a few restaurants, post office, Casino etc. While the house is over 100 years old, it has been well maintained (and was clean) and is decorated with antiques appropriate to such a historic home -- it feels very "Nantucket". The kitchen and bathrooms are newly renovated and include all appliances (including washer and dryer) you could possibly need. We enjoyed the outdoor shower very much. The views from the house are breathtaking. Watching the moon and it's reflection shimmering over the ocean was especially magical. The house did not present any problems for our 18 month old daughter. While the beach at Sconset is better for playing in the sand than swimming (due to the strong rip tide), Sconset is just a short drive to Sesachacha pond in Quidnet (perfect for little ones). To top everything off, we were greeted by the homeowners upon arrival and given a tour of the house and village. Karla, Thea, and Stephen were all very pleasant and helpful in planning our trip. We will stay at Svargaloka again when we return to Nantucket."Guest: Young Family/First Time to Nantucket Date of Stay: August 2010 Review Submitted: September 6, 2010View listing
"This house was ideal for our family vacation, and accurately depicted by the listing. We traveled with our three young children (ages 4, 2, and an infant), and brought my in-laws as well, and the house accommodated everyone very well. The upstairs bedroom has a beautiful huge view onto the ocean. The family room is a good size and has a door and a futon. There are countless interesting books and toys/games for children and adults that we took advantage of, and we enjoyed spending time in the yard, playing, as well. The kitchen is well equipped with all of the tools we needed. The house is clean and comfortable, and there are televisions in both the living room and family room. And of course, the location of this house, in my opinion, can not be better. It is across the street from the beach, with a beach access path right across the street. It is close enough to Sconset center to walk or ride bicycles, but far enough that it's nice and quiet. And the owner was very prompt in responding to all questions/emails about the property and the stay, both before, during and after the vacation. For us, it is the perfect beach cottage, and we would love to return to Low Salt Cottage for another vacation next summer! We highly recommend this property."Guest: TravelingFamily Date of Stay: September 2013 Review Submitted: October 1, 2013View listing
