  • Beautiful House with an Amazing Location!

"My family and I have stayed here 2 years in a row and absolutely LOVE this place! Last year we took a car and quickly realized we should've saved our $460 for shopping. This house has EVERYTHING your family needs for a successful vacation. 4 bed rooms, 2 of which are master beds. 1 great kids room that sleeps 4+ kids and another bedroom with a bath across the hall. 3.5 bathrooms total. We have 2 small kids and the pack and play, wagon, bike w hitch and chairs were perfect for them and we didn't need to lug it over to the island. Plenty of space to spread out so everyone has plenty of room and a great back yard and front yard to sit and relax. Literally a 5 min walk from Steamship with lots to do nearby. Play ground, light house, beaches and shopping all within a 5 minute walk. This house is beautifully decorated, up to date (love the new renovations) and very clean. We would highly recommend this place to anyone with a large family looking to experience Nantucket at its finest. Looking forward to doing it again for many year to come!"

  • Ideal Island Get Away

"I have been enjoying my summers at this property for over two decades now and will never stay anywhere else. The location is perfect for those looking to retreat to a quiet get away while still having quick access to the livelihood of town. The home is also wonderful because of its ability to facilitate outdoor living in good weather and to provide a cozy nest on foggy days. Being one of the tallest homes in the neighborhood, it offers uninterrupted 360 degree views of Madaket harbor and the surf, with a generous deck to enjoy lobster dinners and the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. So many warm and wonderful memories were made in this house I cannot say enough remarkable things about it."

  • Even better than advertised!

"My wife and I recently stayed here for a week with our 9 month old daughter. We were also joined for half the week by friends and their two small children. There was plenty of space to accommodate all of us comfortably. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a nice pack n play and two high-chairs, not to mention plenty of toys to occupy the kids. The locations is great, being right on the Surfside bike path and short distance to town. All of us agreed that there is really nothing more we could have asked or hoped for, and would happily stay here again in the future. Also the owner was very easy to work with."

  • Old school charm with plenty of comforts

"When you walk into this charming cottage you immediately can tell that this is a much loved family vacation home with a long history from the old black and white photos and the collection of classic books on the shelves. No cheesy tchotchkes, or goofy fake nautical antiques adorning the walls. The house and location are perfect for so many reasons: the kids can walk back and forth to the beach without the hassle of having to pack everything for the day; the kitchen is well equipped; the yard perfect for playing and BBQs; furniture is comfortable and not precious - you can put your feet up without stressing about a bit of sand on them; the essential outdoor shower is what it is and unless you have peeping toms in your family, there's no lack of privacy; the beds are firm. We had a lot of rain during our visit but the kids loved playing games inside while the adults kicked back on the comfy sofas reading and napping. What more does anyone want on a vacation? I think it'd make a great film set location with so much nostalgic charm. It's exactly what we imagined Nantucket to be like."
