  • Many Castles Nantucket, MA

"Excellent vacation at Many Castles Nantucket, MA. Listing description was accurate and the listing photos were accurate. The house is very comfortable. Top of the line electronics (diverse and large DVD library) and household amenities, including new stove; perfect for cooking lobsters! Hmm. Lots of board games for the kids. Ocean views from living area and spacious ocean facing deck as described. Beds were very comfortable and all linens, towels, and comforters top of the line; like staying at a hotel. Location was quiet and quiet not crowded beach nearby as described by owner. All other beaches easy driving distances. Excellent paved and dirt biking paths which traverse the island. We rented bikes from Island Bikes. Island Bikes was excellent and their bikes were top notch. They also deliver and pick up for free. Others charge $10. We rode bikes more than drove car. A compact car will meet your needs; unless you expect to go offroad --which you will have to do to reach distant fishing and beach spots. Then you will need a four wheel drive. The town of Nantucket has many fine restaurants, taverns, and candy stores. More gummy bears, if you please. There are many historical sites in and around town. The Whaling museum is a must stop. There is great fishing from the beach and a myriad of private boats. Several tackle stores nearby to rent gear; boats supply everything. We caught 30 fish and cooked many of them on the excellent new gas grill on the deck. The house is very clean and very well maintained. Outdoor shower (enclosed except for roof) is fantastic. I showered only once inside. Night stars are incredible. Very little ambient light. Owner very helpful, friendly and responsive. I would recommend this property to family and friends. In fact I already have."

  • Love this home in Cisco

"We have rented this home for three years now and we love the location. The owner is very responsive and helps with anything we may need. The home has everything needed to dine in (kitchen necessities and grill tools) and to enjoy the beach (chairs, towels and more). The house is very clean and ready to enjoy. The security deposit is returned shortly after our departure and the key delivery is efficient. We always have the key a week before check-in, without worry or stopping when we get on island. I am sure you will enjoy Nantucket, Cisco, the Brewery, Bartlett's Farm and the Fish market…all very close to the home. We look forward to our annual visit with our family. Our kids love the proximity to the bike bath and the ocean!"

  • Perfect In Every Way!

"We had the pleasure of returning to this beautiful home in mid-June for a second time. As a family of four, with twins in college, once again it looked like the shoulder season fit our summer schedules best. When we brought up summer vacation last winter, returning to Nantucket and this gorgeous, comfortable, well located home was the unanimous first choice. My husband and I have been vacationing in Nantucket on and off for 26 years. Until we discovered this house, we always stayed in town, but we are now total “converts” to the mid-island stay. With grown kids away at school, it's all about being together, and this lovely home lent itself to that so well. From there, we biked to four different beaches. Bikes are included, even one with a wagon to cart groceries, or beach supplies, which are also included. We biked to Bartlett Farms to buy fresh produce, Cisco Brewery to hear a band, and into town for dining and souvenir shopping. This year we rented a car for a few days and caught a perfect Madaket sunset. My daughter and I love to cook, which is such a pleasure in Nancy’s well appointed kitchen. The house is immaculate and spectacular in every way, with a great selection of books, music, games, and a dock to play your own music. Seems like Nancy thought of everything, right down to the most comfortable bed linens to lull you into a good sleep. Upon leaving, my husband and I gave a look, knowing we shared the same thoughts, hoping for at least one more return trip here with our kids to make more Nantucket memories."

  • Best family vacation ever

"Our family of 15 had a wonderful week. The home was perfect. We had family wiffle ball and bocci tournements. Our hosts left gifts for us and checked in twice to make sure all was good. They gave us great reccomendations and because it made sense for us we had most dinners catered in. Everything about the home was as good as advertised. Hope to return one day."
