  • College Roomies Reunion Weekend

"Seven of us stayed recently in this beautiful home and had the best weekend ever. The house is absolutely beautiful with a view of the water. The beach was quiet, peaceful and also beautiful and just a short walk. Everything you need is right there and Deb was just a phone call away as she walked me through turning the heat on the first night we were there. Rockport and Glouceter are great for shopping and eating and we took the Lannon Schooner out of Gloucester on Sunday. The perfect weather was also a plus. If you want to enjoy a perfect weekend in this beautiful home in this beautiful area this is the place for you! Thanks Deborah for sharing your home."

  • My Favorite Vacation Place

"This is my fourth year staying at Paula & John's inviting vacation home, and I've already booked for next year. The house has everything one could need for a week away from home - comfortable beds and living room, well equipped kitchen, back porch with grill and eating area and, my favorite, the roof top deck with views of the ocean. There are endless places to kayak in the area, and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. My entire family - ranging in age from 2 to 62 - loves this place!"

  • As promised, well appointed and lovely cottage, convenient walk to beach

"Clean, well appointed with all the necessary modern conveniences on a quiet street. Small but comfortable with a nice yard and grille when you need to serve a meal to more than four at a time. About 5 minute walk to Preston beach and a short drive to downtown historic Marblehead. For visiting friends and family in the area, this was perfect for our family of four (including two teenagers)."

  • The beach and the ocean are the yard!

"This was our second year staying here. The location is wonderful and the beach is clean and sandy. There is a large, comfortable deck with a well-kept grill and the entire deck overlooks the beach and the ocean. The units are very clean and comfortable and the owner goes to exceptional lengths to ensure guests comfort. The layout of the house is great, with a large, well-equiped, clean (the appliances are new/newer) kitchen, with a sliding glass door opening to the deck. The bedrooms are very comfortable and clean and there's a full bath with a tub and shower. This section of the beach is not congested and very family friendly. Although there are two units, one upstairs (where we stayed), and one downstairs, we never felt like we were sharing a house. There is a rare feeling of privacy which is hard to come by. At night, there are fireworks on the beach and you can see the firework disiplays in Hampton Beach which is only a five minute drive. Oh, yes, although we don't fish, many days folks were pulling in very large fish just by fishing from the shore. We have been looking for the perfect vacation spot for years and we have found it. We are planning on staying two weeks next year."
