Hey! This Place Was Super!!
"Talk about being centrally located and convenience, you got it here at Al and Barb's home. There's a 7/11, Stop & Shop, Beauty Parlour, ice cream shop and the beach all within walking distance. You can walk to Main St. and all the boutique shops too, if you want? We're open ocean kayakers, and love this place because there was lots of parking on the lot and we didn't have to park our car out on the street with the kayaks on top, like most places. Al said there was room in the back, so we could off load, hose down and store in the back yard.
Inside, the beds were comfortable, wifi worked, and the kitchen was complete. There's big screen tv too. I told Al, my daughter was a finger picking guitarist and he loaned her his personal Taylor acoustic guitar.
Perhaps, the most convenient thing about our stay, was walking over to have breakfast at Zeke's at 5:00 a.m. in the morning. Sit at the counter and watch Mike put on a show for you in making your omelet and French toast. Take home some baked in house bread when you go.
We were lucky to stay here and be able to launch our kayak at various locations around Cape Ann. Our only regret was that we wen't able to stay longer. We really do miss Al and Barb's home..."

"Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property! It was exactly as portrayed in the photos and the amenities were as listed. MaryJane was a gracious host. Very pretty grounds and comfortable surroundings. Thank you for making our quick getaway a great one - The Nolans."

"This is the second year we have rented this house with our grown kids and their families. Both years have been amazing and we look forward to next years vacation at the beach house! Our grand babies are ages four years old and younger and it has helped their parents to be able to keep them on the same nap schedule while a parent relaxes on one of the porches and reads a book or watch other family members just across the street at the beach. Both porches are very relaxing and inviting and watching the sunrise (yes, sometimes we've been up that early) from one of the rocking chairs was a gift in itself! At night the porch has been a place of togetherness while we share each others stories, play cards and relax.
The bedrooms are set up perfectly for us with a couple of them having adjoining doors so that we can fit pack n plays comfortably in them. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. We love that we can all fit in the kitchen and eat and also the dining room. This beach house has been a perfect fit for our family, very comfortable and feels like home to us.
Good Harbor beach has been a delight!! We love everything it offers; walks along the shore at all hours of the day and into the night, sand castles galore, riding the "lazy river" on our boogie boards, and enjoying watching the kids catch hermit crabs, baby shrimp, and small stripers with their nets before letting them go back to the ocean. It's most amazing while we're enjoying the ocean and all its fun, that when all the beachgoers up and leave, we get to keep on having fun, or just relax and take our time knowing we can come and go as we please. We also fit in our daily walks which we so enjoy because of the beautiful ocean view and breeze off the water. We love walking in and out of the nearby streets just as we do at our own neighborhood.
There are playgrounds, restaurants, deli's and bakeries all close by along with an ice-cream stand that we easily walk to that sells Richardson's ice-cream and happens to be one of our favorite creameries! We never worry about groceries because Stop N Shop is right across from the ice-cream stand :) very convenient!
It's been very relaxing and yet invigorating to stay so close to the beach. It has definately been a refreshing and restoring vacation for all of us and we walk away with very happy memories of our togetherness!"

"Great location right outside of downtown....we ended up with cold and rainy weather for much of the week, but the wifi and tv kept the kids busy and mom and dad got to take some nice scenic runs on the few sunny days down to the beach at plum island. Owner was very responsive to any inquiries and the large number of bedrooms helped keep the kids separate which always nice after a long car ride :). Basketball hoop and skateboards were an added bonus and the kids really liked the longboard. I would recommend for another stay, especially in the warmer months, though it was a great stop for us and convenient for a home base for us seeing relatives in the area of Danvers and Exeter."
