  • Extremely nice bungalow in a beautiful setting

"This lovely split-level bungalow was perfect for our family vacation! It is located in a peaceful neighborhood, has a generous back yard and is surrounded by exquisitely beautiful foliage. (Especially in autumn!) Our family of three adult couples appreciated the design that allowed each couple privacy while providing an open area for gathering. The home is well appointed with quality appliances, cookware and utensils. The weather didn't allow us to use the grill on the balcony, but we enjoyed playing games (supplied by the owner) by the fire and watching finches and cardinals dining at the bird feeder on the balcony. Each bedroom has access to the balcony, as does the living room. The elevator came in handy for carrying suitcases, groceries, etc., to the upper floor as well as for persons with mobility issues. Access to the beach is just a short walk down the road. We loved staying at the bungalow and recommend it highly."

  • Beautiful home with a stunning view

"I had several friends and family come stay in this home for two nights and everyone was blown away by the view and elegance of the home. You can hear the waves while laying in bed at night, and just a short drive into Newburyport downtown for lots of great shops and restaurants. Everyone had their own comfortable beds and everything they needed for the stay. Property was professionally cleaned before we arrived and there were ample clean towels and extra pillows and bed linens (along with extra toiletries if needed). The views and property are even more amazing in person than in the photos. I would absolutely invite everyone back to do this again. Dave, the home owner, was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay. Highly recommend this place!!"

  • Dream Vacation

"This house was a dream come true for our large family. It is clean, spacious, comfortable, with a lovely view of the cove. All amenities are provided and the owner is available if needed. The location is ideal for sightseeing, boating, and is near beaches. The loft was where the children slept and they loved it. We look forward to returning one day and would recommend it."

  • Lovely little home away from home.

"The photos do it absolute justice. We loved our week long stay in this little piece of heaven. The attention to detail involved in the cottage is impressive. The front porch area is a great place to spend the early morning watching the fish in the little pond. The plum cove beach area is about a 5 minute walk down the street. The little parking garage is a bit tricky to get in to, and be sure there is purple trash bags on your stay. The city wont pick up trash unless you use the city sanctioned bags. We had to go buy our own but the local convenience store has them. The shower was amazing and the whole house integrated sound system was a nice feature also. The wifi was a bit spotty it seemed to come and go. On our visit we checked out the lighthouse area around the breakers, went on the 7 sea's whale watch, ate plenty of clams, cooked our own lobsters (there is a big boiling pot included), drove around the entire cape, checked out Salem, visited Cape Pond Ice, saw the Hammond Castle and went to the Ryan & Wood distillery. There is so much to see and do in the area, that a week is not enough time to see all the sites. I would highly recommend a stay at this little cottage its perfect for a couple visiting the area."
