A wonderful two weeks on Plum Island
"We just finished staying two weeks at this lovely home. The home was in pristine condition and the owner seemed to think of everything in this well appointed home with ample sleeping and three full bathrooms. The kitchen was very well appointed with excellent appliances and, as a result, we cooked many of our meals. This was ideal for our multigenerational family. The two living areas, one upstairs and the other down allowed different activities to meet the various needs.
The proximity of the beach and restaurants along with a Newburyport so close by, was a great benefit. Our family hopes to return."

"WE SPENT THE WEEK OF AUGUST 16 TO 23, 2014 IN THIS LOVELY VICTORIAN HOUSE : 3 ADULTS AND THREE CHILDREN : 7 AND 5 YEARS OLD AND A 3 MONTH-OLD BABY, AND IT WAS A PURE DELIGHT. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VACATION WAS TO OUR HEART'S CONTENT : THE HOUSE, THE VILLAGE AND THE BEACH. DEBORAH, OUR HOSTESS, MADE SURE THAT OUR VARIOUS NEEDS WERE MET, INCLUDING THE DOG'S. WE WOULD GO BACK TO THE VICTORIAN VILLA ANYTIME.

"Lisa, our hostess was the most thoughtful and kind person. She provided a Christmas tree and ornaments and we all enjoyed decorating the tree. We were an extended family in Newburyport for the Christmas Holidays and the home was perfect for our 6 adults and 4 children (ages 2 through 11), and for a number of meals we had an additional 3 people. Everyone was comfortably situated in the lovely bedrooms, and the dining room was perfect. The children appreciated all the board games and TV's and having their own table for some meals. The home is convenient to downtown Newburyport, a charming village, even on foot. There was also good hiking suitable for adults and kids in a large local woods, and a rock climbing gym nearby. Winter made it impossible to go the the beaches nearby and enjoy the water sports and activities in Newburyport; we'd love to come back in summer. A relatively short drive enabled some of us to visit the Louisa May Alcott House. We had a wonderful family gathering in a lovely home!"

"Our family stayed at the Beachcomber Cottage for 2 weeks in August, three seasons in a row, which should tell you something. A very comfortable, well stocked house with a versatile floor plan that allows for simultaneous, separate indoor activities in the evening or when weather doesn't cooperate. Long Beach a couple of houses away, and Good Harbor Beach a 5 minute bike ride or less than 15 if you're walking. A popular ice cream place up the street, and groceries, liquor and fresh fish all within minutes. We spent most evenings grilling on the generous deck, overlooking a very large, landscaped, private yard. Plentiful parking and a garage for storing bikes. We recommend the house without reservation."
