  • Perfect house for family fun

"Our daughter got married at Willowdale Estate. Since we were from out of town, we decided to rent a house within commuting distance to the wedding but near a beach. The Beachcomber was the perfect house for us. Beautiful Long Beach was a short stroll away and the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need including beach chairs and beach towels! Our son loved his room off the upstairs den (complete with pool table). Good Harbor Beach was only a mile away and we could walk easily to the Dairy Maid! Huge cones! Pizza was very good there too! If you simply can't get away from the office, they've got WiFi too. This came in very handy a couple of times for us. All in all, it was a very relaxing place to stay, in a beautiful setting, close to anything you might want or need, for a satisfying holiday. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and hope to go back someday and invite our adult children to join us for a week of coastal fun and relaxation. I highly recommend staying here whether your children are 5 or 25. And if you happen to be hosting or joining a wedding party in the area...renting a house like this is a lifesaver."

  • Wonderful apartment in Marblehead

"We stayed here in mid-August 2014 & thoroughly enjoyed our time in Marblehead! There is a side door to the left side of the house with staircase directly to the 3rd floor apt - while you might be out of breathe at the top - it's worth the hike! The apartment is spacious and was a perfect choice for us along with our 9 yr old & my 71 yr mom. The 9 yr old used the day bed in the corner of the living room and for a small additional fee, we used the 2nd bedroom (1 queen bed) for my mom. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and we had breakfast there each morning - plus dinners a few nights. The apartment, towels and bedding are all in pristine condition - just keep in mind that this is a very old house and you will feel some un-eveness in the floors. The property is in a central location within Marblehead's old town. Although we did several day trips into Boston (drive ~30 min to closest subway stop & take the T), just staying in the village is a lovely relaxing time. The home owner provided maps with location of beaches, eating places, etc as well as many details on where to find things. Local people in Marblehead were wonderul and welcoming! We met local families several times at the beaches and at the Little Harbor Boathouse (for SUP board & Kayaking). While the water is cold - the welcome is warm! The mansion tours, shopping and walking around the local areas are fabulous! Enjoy your time here - we surely did!"

  • Fabulous!

"We stayed at this condo for almost a week and it was fabulous. It had everything we needed, The owner and her agent answered all our questions. It was a great home-base for our son's wedding in Peabody and hosting dinners in Boston and Salem. Very comfortable and convenient. Great to have a parking spot, too!"

  • A wonderful two weeks on Plum Island

"We just finished staying two weeks at this lovely home. The home was in pristine condition and the owner seemed to think of everything in this well appointed home with ample sleeping and three full bathrooms. The kitchen was very well appointed with excellent appliances and, as a result, we cooked many of our meals. This was ideal for our multigenerational family. The two living areas, one upstairs and the other down allowed different activities to meet the various needs. The proximity of the beach and restaurants along with a Newburyport so close by, was a great benefit. Our family hopes to return."
